Anybody else hopelessly addicted to this disc? I totally can\'t get enough of it. I listen to it at least once each night while driving (I have 8+ hrs per night to listen to whatever). I still hear things I haven\'t heard before. It\'s not like a lot of other albums out of the TDRS camp but still it kicks ass.

I just wanted to get everyone else\'s opinion, if they\'ve checked it out.

After reading your entry I went and listened to the downloadable sample track:  I\'m hooked and just ordered the disc.  

I love this cd, when I got it I was inspired to get a jump rope and learn how to skip to the beat to the first track. It\'s harder than you think, I\'m pretty good now and it\'s a great cardio workout. I doubt I would have done it without the cd.

...now I\'m going to order a jump rope!!!

I like this CD very much. The music is suspenseful.

I wonder who the voice is.

His story is very compelling (at least to me) and I love to listen to it over and over. He has a great sense of humor as well.

It is funny that you said that.  I thought this was a thread asking for opinions and I was going to say that for some reason I love to listen to it in the car.  It is an amazing album and leaves me feeling upbeat after listening to it.  As well as being a great driving album, it is great to exercise to.  
 

It occurred to me today while thinking about the song where he talks about a person "Becoming A Racehorse" that one of the things that I don\'t get about this album is the title.

Maybe Travis could enlighten us? Where does this title "Running After Deer" come from? I may be wrong but I don\'t think that there\'s any reference to that anywhere on the CD, is there?

Just curious is all.

That white tdrs box arrived today with this CD; I am on my second listen and cannot get enough of it!  I agree with HansF that the music is very suspenseful; at times feel like I\'m on the edge of my seat.  Thanks for the heads up Phydeaux_3!!!

It was Sammy\'s idea. He said to Alix, I want you to make a record called "Running after Deer". Hmm...OK......so we did.

Thanks Travis, at least now I know.

The whole idea of a person becoming a racehorse has rooted itself in my psyche. Intended or otherwise, this album has changed the way I think.

Also, it\'s hella inspiring.
