I don\'t know if it is from the book or not but you need to see that movie. You can barrow my copy if youd like.

Quotehey - going back to "Somewhere in Time" - was that from the book, "Time and Again"?  that was an awsome book, but i never saw that movie.

I haven\'t read the book...but judging by the movie, I thought the story was very good & Christopher\'s performance was just excellent. I\'m telling you...the amount of times I have cried over that film is unreal...am in two minds whether to buy it on DVD so I can remember him  :(

m4sure - Oh absolutely, totally tugs at everything.
This movie is one hell of a story. Don\'t think about it, get the dvd.

gkg - I could probably get it to you faster then netflix.  ;)

gkg

netflix is pretty fast, but i\'ll keep it in mind.  i have so much on my plate right now - but i\'d like to see it, sort of as an homage to CReeve in a way, since you and m4sure seem to feel strongly about it.
Peace.

To all of us who have lost a friend....your fight against paralysis was noble and brave, and we respect you for everything you stood for!  You fought against what life gave you, and gave us all something to think about!  You said you would walk again, and I know in your next life you are walking tall!

We love you Christopher

need to see Remains of the Day - we just don\'t do movies much...  as for Rear Window, thinking of renting it, but i\'m such a purist when it comes to Hitchcock that i\'m a little leery.  Rear Window is one of my all time favs - although i think the top Hitch-flick to me is Rope.  LOVE that one.

i am very curious to see the animated piece Reeve was working on when he died.  they have announced it will go forward.
Peace.

I\'ve seen "Somewhere in Time".  It\'s about a young man in his late 20s early 30s and an old woman who was in her mid-late 90s I\'d say.  She told him to come back to her and he didn\'t understand until later.  He realized that he had been reencarnated.  He knew the old woman when she was young and beautiful (Jane Seymour) back in 1918 I think it was.  He started to remember the hotel and the surroundings and he traveled back in time by hypnotizing himself.  At the end, well I don\'t want to ruin it for anyone, you\'ll just have to watch it.  But Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) and Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour) did end up with eachother.  Christopher Reeve is, was, and always will be the best and only Superman for me.  The star we lost on the ground can now shine brightly in the sky.  He\'ll be able to walk, run, jump and fly if he wants to, no wheelchair or machines can stop him now.

m4sure help me out here cause I don\'t recall any part  about reincarnation??? it was all about time travel. He had done it before that\'s how they meet but he didn\'t remember because it hadn\'t happened yet until she came looking for him as an old women and gave him the watch and told him to come back to her so she could be with him again then he went looking for a way to go back in time and........It\'s time travel, any quantum sientists out there help us out,  but I say don\'t try to understand it just enjoy it cause it makes sense.
Well somehow... :-/ Oh man guess I know what Ill be watching this weekend.

Another great t ime travel movie...The letter...Jennifer Jason leigh. That is a good story. Rent it!

Yeah your right it was about time travel!
Made me believe in Quantum physics!

Didn\'t SUPERMAN time travel when he had to go back in time when Lois died after he got to her accident too late? Seem to remember Superman making that world spin round in reverse?

Don\'t think I have seen "The Letter" looks like I will have to see that movie too.
