I wonder what the classical music impact on the album Thanatopsis - Thanatopsis track "Final Reparation" is?

Bach, Händel?

Thank you for any information.

Oh yes. Thank you, Travis.

It\'s Alla Turca. I have the piece in my vinyl collection. But I didn\'t remember.

Parts of track 3 on Left Hanging, Archtype, reminds me of "The Fight of the Bumblebee"

Travis, has there been any other composers that have influenced you from the classical/baroque/romantic (any period) that you can say has shaped you as a musician?

Any particular pieces in mind?

Thanks!

HansF

I think I was wrong. It\'s not Mozart\'s Rondo Alla Turca on Final Reparation...

But what is it? Another excellent work. I cannot identify.

My last idea regarding the influence on Final Reparation.  ;)

Divertimento B-Dur KV 439b, Nr. 2, Rondo, from Mozart.

Travis, please.

MOTHRA

I gotta say this song is pretty damn sweet.

Thanatopsis is the greatest thing that has happened to me musically in years, I\'m so glad I just discovered this stuff.

I hope and pray somehow that they will do another album in the future.

It\'s been identified correctly here before by a listener, pretty good considering I only used  about 3 2 measure snippets. I hear it on NPR once in a while.  Not going to make it so easy for you though.
