Travis: Monolith combined?

At TK someone pointed out, the five CDs of Monolith could meant to be combined to one track like "Zaireeka", an album by The Flaming Lips (see Wikipedia for more information on that). Nobody on TK seemed to doubt it.
So now, that I combined the tracks in Cubase and listened to it several times I\'m quite sure that this is the actual album. The title "Monolith" alone is good evidence to me.

Travis, can you confirm this? And when will the 5.1 DVD go on sale?

Of course, it would be more fun to put up five stereos to have a full surround experience and I may try this soon...

I do not read the TK board, so I thank you for mentionning this here.
I also wish for an answer. I have not yet purchased Monolith and I\'m very curious.

Well, the word monolith means something like a massive rock formation, so that would support the theory. Maybe it\'s meant to combine into one big "formation" after all.

I haven\'t tried combining them, but I hear the results are really cool and surprising.

yes  it sounds  pretty damn sweet   i made  one where the tracks  end at the same time  too....  both sound great!!

As a person who just discovered Zaireeka like three weeks ago, this novelty is immensely appealing to me!  Now if only I had expendible cash.

I tried this on the Funnel Weaver Album binding an blending the results were less then lukewarm, also for the lawyers (reading this) I aborted it a few months after it was created.

to combine the five er six disc... hmm no five discs, fascinating

if I were to do this in Adobe Audition, it would probably snuff out the computer.
