Found out of at the TK that Buckethead has a new song on itunes for the relief of Japan. Titled "The Rising Sun", 100% of proceedings from the song will be donated to the relief effort in Japan.

A download/donation option through TDRS would be pretty awesome.  Someone at .tk had that idea.  I don\'t know the ins and outs though.  It\'s probably a lot of work to keep track of.

Another option along with downloading Bucket\'s song...if you like is on the first page of the itunes store... a redcross donation choice in $5 dollar increments...100% goes to the redcross.

^ Yeah.  I saw that, but I don\'t like donating like that.  Too corporate.  Most of my donations I keep local.  Local SPCA, local church, local fire company, stuff like that.  But that\'s just me.

just bought the song on iTunes... simply put, Buckethead never ceases to amaze me. The song is obviously great, but the fact that he\'s donating all of the profits to relief efforts in Japan makes all of this that much more special. I\'m really honored to buy his music in support of such a great cause.

Beautiful song.  Hopefully iTunes is also feeling charitable or only 8 cents or so is probably actually going to get to Buckethead and thus to the relief effort.
