New Buckethead CD for 2010.

Well I have heard from various sources that a follow up to Enter the Chicken is planned. I also think its a great oppurtunity to stick in the live only songs such as The Embalmer and Help Help Help. What do you guys think?

I am not a big fan of Enter the Chicken but I would obviously buy a follow up anyway.  I would just rather he go without vocals unless it is a reunion with Maximum Bob.

Being that I LOVE Enter The Chicken, this is great news for me. I\'m hopeful that it will be the same kind of format, 3 hard then 3 soft then 3 really hard songs. Plus maybe a Buckethead "normal" song to top it off at the end. Who knows though. Either way, I\'m sure it will be super.

There\'s gossip about this album since Serj said something in an interview. That was some years ago, so I wouldn\'t be too over-optimistic...

The ONLY data available is this and it is two years old:

We\'re gonna re-release the Buckethead And Friends record early next year because our distributor (owned by Tower Records) went bankrupt so the CDs were off the shelves recently. We\'re also planning on doing a new Buckethead record and have been working on a few new signings for 08.

Some vocalists that I would love to hear with Buckethead are:
Gibby Haynes (Top choice because he rules)
Dalek (adding his corrosive rhymes)
Mike Patton (singing a pop song)
Bjork (probably wouldnt happen but it would be great)
Maximum Bob (again)
Tim Singer (Deadguy, Kiss it Goodbye, no escape)
David Yow (something different)
Buzz Osborne (favorite metal voice)
Randy Blythe (not sure this would work)
*Albert* (more gore from our beloved)
Chuck Billy (the master of thrash vocals)
King Diamond (that would be funny)
Dean and Gene Ween (for humor)
Dave Brockie (for gore humor)

And I do agree that a few songs with no vocals should be attached.  Maybe with other musican friends like:

i don\'t know if that will happen, word is that serj is getting SOAD back together, i don\'t think he would have time for collaborations if that\'s true, even though i would really like another EtC!!

I\'d like to see a Buckethead World Tour more than a new album.

...but if that doesn\'t happen I\'d love to hear more Thanatopsis or a DOE/RAD type album.

I think he\'s due to have a cd out with his most recognizable song on it--Jordan! And the new stuff would be amazing, as well.

MY "sources" indicated that he IS coming out with a new album AND.............................IT IS going to kick ass..........13 fold.

They also stated it will sound like him but sound new and be better
