I finally got to hear this CD and I have to say... ouch.

How many think that this recording is just Buckethead playing around with allready recorded material using protools.  I swear that that it is because so many of the sounds are total familiar.  So really this is just a remix album of all his work with Monty.  Cool idea but its really hard to listen to.

I guess the title of the cd fits quite well... evidence(forensic) that has been messed up (follies.)

To Buckethead... right on with the idea and for being inovative but... ouch.

well thats exactly what its meant to be, a remix album O__o

I like it.  Trunk of the Tree is totally badass.

There is not 1 remix on that album according to my ears. Those are new songs created with snippets of old songs...very different ideas and intentions there.

Yes its tough to listen to the first few times through (and i don\'t know if it will ever be a regular rotation album) but its really interesting. Its fun to recognize the different sounds and figure out where they come from etc.

I see it as an interactive Buckethead album....very cool idea!

This might not make any sense, but I think of Forensic Follies as Buckethead techno.

yea sorry, meant to say that, but since english isnt my 1st language i didnt find the words and figured i\'d call it remix album - you\'re right though, its new songs with snippets from old ones - apart from the last one as far as i know, i think thats completely new :)

i like this one too - i\'m a BIG fan of Inbred Mountain and Elephant Man\'s Alarm Clock as well

someone will have to get over to the reviews page and post some comments on this one though - i can see where it\'s not for everyone\'s taste
Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.

I like this one. I\'ve enjoyed it each time I listened and didn\'t really have to be in the mood. I think it\'s amazing how new riffs have actually been made from old ones. I kind of tried to do it before, taking a section of a song and cutting it and stuff and it\'s really hard to time where it is. Some of the riffs are just all over the place and sound really cool.

To me it sounds like a mad genius DJ made a scratch album from several Buckethead albums.
