Ha

I don\'t know how this idea has progressed since it was first brought up, but I do like this idea and add me to the list of buyers. My record player hasn\'t made noise in quite some time and needs some good tunes. I do believe, though, that if there was new material released on vinyl then that would get more people buying. $20 not too bad either, I see records going for near and over $50 at some shops here.

I would buy ANY Buckethead on vinyl.

I think his mellower albums might translate better to vinyl.

EMAC or the new one SOTP would also be great...or CCOH!!!

Travis, which Buckethead cd has sold the best thru TDRS?

pre-pre order should def be held, i personally know quite a few people who would buy population override as well as dragons of eden on vinyl as soon as it dropped. you should take a poll on how well certain albums would sell, including the cost you would want for each with the poll to ensure buyers (i would easily pay $50 for either of the albums stated above on vinyl)

not to mention i would def buy two of each, keeping one copy as a collectors item and the other for listening lol

Sorry to be a bolt in the neck, but...

Wouldn\'t putting any of Buckethead\'s recent material on vinyl cause the quality to be lower?  If not that, it wouldn\'t make it any better...

From my understanding, much of the older material on vinyl sounds better that way because they weren\'t digital recordings.  They were analog.

If you put digital recordings on a device that\'s not totally meant for them, wouldn\'t that compromise the quality a bit?  A CD is more of a digital format, that would make a little more sense...

I\'m not sure if anyone else has commented like this, to be honest I haven\'t checked through the entirety of the thread.
