I just bought a record player, and I have been buying vinyl like crazy, so if there was ever a bucket release on vinyl, I would definitely buy it.

just thinking of Crime Slunk Scene, Peppers Ghost, and Population Override on vinyl makes want to steal an ATM and buy them

i would love to have those on vinyl and the rest of Buckethead discography also (hahaha) but i dont have money.

maybe Travis, you should take this to another level and start a research or a pre-pre order to know who many would buy something like that
He works on the farm,
He makes fun of me,
But thats the lats thing youll see,
Cuz im gone use him for something that you wont understand

You can count me in...I\'d buy every release on vinyl in addition to the CD versions and I\'d be more than happy to take part in a pre-order.

i\'d buy one as a gift for my bro cause he\'s really into records!

I definitely think a pre-preorder would be a good idea. It couldn\'t hurt.

I agree with a pre-preorder system.
I would love to have any Buckethead on vinyl.

I still have my Technics turntable SL1200 that I bought in Germany in 1978. with 2 NEW Shure V15 cartridges I picked up before the CD craze started. One still new in box a Pickering audiophile. The turntable is still like new after all these years. No belts. Servo drive.Haven\'t used that steros setup in like 10 years now. GOt married and had kid\'s.Have 200 gram audiophile copys of Pink Floyd, complete Jimi Hendrix collection on vinyl, Nash the Slash on Vinyl. AHir bands form the 70 and 80s. Got a collection of vinyl that I started back in the early 70\'s. Going to the record store on Sat. morning to by records 45\'s and LP\'s  is what we used to do back in those days.
 So yes. I would pre-preorder.

Duckhead

Travis, have you thought of making a limited vinyl only release, similar to cyborg slunks or blueprints? Maybe a collection of songs best for vinyl with an all wite album cover personalized by buckethead?

I\'d pay a $100 for one of those or whatever it took to recover the cost.

Still any chance of this happening, or a pre-order sort of deal to see how it would work out?

eggman90

Ah, vinyl. I too still have tons of great original albums in mint shape, even some of those good old half-speed masters. They were $20 dollars in the early \'80s.

Mr_B

I would buy any vinyl with Buckethead on.
Hey Travis, why don\'t you go ahead and press some 7".
That is not very expensive. I\'ve done several with my music over the years.
And while you\'re at it, make it a picture disc.

Seeing what\'s get pressed on vinyl these days I\'d think Bucket should be able to sell a few... Perhaps try first with a release with somebody famous. :)

I\'m surprised it so hard to cover the costs, I\'d think Buckethead got at least a little famous. And if someone like Spectre (Wordsound) can sell vinyl for 15 bucks Buckethead should be able to do it. Then again, there\'s \'fans\' buying cd\'s for \'collectors prices\' on eBay while they\'re still available here. (Sidenote: perhaps start an eBay shop, Travis?)

I\'d be buying vinyl, but not for collectors prices. 20 bucks including shipping is reasonable (and I would always order at least 2 items to save on shipping ;) ).

I\'d rather spend on vinyl than on mp3 or cdr, that\'s for sure.

I UNDERSTAND THAT IT WOULD BE EXPENSIVE
BUT IF YOU SURVEY WHAT ALBUM PEOPLE WOULD PREFER TO RE BUY ON LP AND GET PEOPLE TO PRE PAY.
I KNOW THAT I WOULDN\'T MIND PRE PAYING 20 30 BUCKS FOR BUCKETHEAD ON VINAL AND HAVE A MINIMUM AMOUT TO PRE PAY FOR IT TO BE DONE AND LIKE SIGN ALL THE PRE ORDERS SO NO ONE WOULD CARE PAYING A LITTLE MORE/AND MAYBE HAVE LIKE A BACK OUT PLAN IN CASE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE PRE PAY/LIKE MYBE CHARGE 35 FOR A PRE PAY SIGN LP AND HAVE IT DEFINED THAT IF THE MINIMUM DOESN\'T GET REACHED THEN YOU COULD REIMBURST FOR IT OR JUST ASK WHAT TWO CDS THEY WOULD LIKE OF HIS AND MAYBE SIGN EM OR SOMETHING AND SEND EM OUT

I THINK THE ONLY THING YOU COULD LOOSE IS YOU TIME.IDK JUST A THOUGHT

You might want to get the Caps Lock key unstuck if you want people to even bother reading your posts buddy
