Albums I own:
Pepper\'s Ghost
Crime Slunk Scene
Monsters & Robots
DCK

I also really enjoyed nottingham lace.

I really really like PG and CSS, and M&R had some good tracks.  I didn\'t particularly like DCK.

I\'ve got my eye on:
Elephant Man\'s Alarm Clock
Colma
Inbred Mountain
Cuckoo Clocks of Hell

Can anyone make any definite recommendations, even if they aren\'t on my interested list?

EMAC, Colma, Inbred Mountain, and CCoH are great choices and essential Buckethead albums. So I would say go ahead and get these first.

Welcome to tdrs!

Anyway, CCoH is really heavy, but good. EMAC is less heavy, but better.

I would actually recommend any of the Thanatopsis CDs. They\'re all just great jamming albums and it sounds wonderful.

The albums that you have your eye on would be perfect for you.

Also consider getting Bucketheadland II.

The 13th Scroll is awesome.  I recommend it, some of his best guitar work in my opinion.

You have a super start on your selection... and your collection...Portal_hoopty!
It\'s not easy to decide...and sooner or later one by one or a few at a time you will no doubt collect them all...
I love every bitz of it  :)
I agree with the suggestions already mentioned... :D
The 13th scroll as well as  Cobra Strike 2 are amazing!
Bucketheadland 2 I absolutely love it!!
Giant Robot is another one I believe is a must to binge on!! Kaliedoscalp!!! THERE are so many!!  ;D

Have FUN FUN FUN and welcome to TDRS too!

I wouldn\'t recommend getting BHL 2 until you have a LOT by Buckethead. It\'s a weird album for sure, and, imo, not good. At all.

That\'s just my opinion of course.

Boots

BHLII is an excellent way to familiarize yourself with Bucketheadland, and it has some killer tracks like Carpal Tunnel Tomb Torker and Frozen Brains Tell No Tales.

The Gutter rewels too!   *headbangs

to each his own, though  :P

Get those ones in that exact order

If you want a more standard rocking sound, then get EMAC before CCOH and IM, but I sort of prefer the latter albums, I think (I am waffling on this because EMAC is an incredible album with some amazing wedges). Anyone, I find CCOH and IM to be more...interesting?...different?  They are definitely heavier and along with IOLM probably his most combative (for lack of a better word).  Colma is just super chill and beautiful.  It is a good one to play when older folks are around or interested in hearing that Buckethead feller.

Based on the ones you like I\'d say EMAC is the choice then IM.  Colma is AMAZING, but it doesn\'t sound like CSS or PG.  It is really mellow.  CCoH is very heavy - also a good choice.

Colma is the best choice if you want mellow, soothing.
One of my faves.

CCOH & EMAC are great too, but heavier work.
Inbred Mountain i don\'t have(yet).
If you have the funds, buy them all!
