I own:
Giant Robot
Kaleidoscalp
Monsters and Robots
Electric Tears
Crime Slunk Scene
Inbred Mountain
Elephant Mans Alarm Clock
Population Override
Cuckoo Clocks of Hell
Buckethead Land blueprints
Thanatopsis
Cobra Strike 13th scroll

Plan on getting:
ISOT
Peppers Ghost

is there any other essential buckethead albums, I have some extra money so I was  wondering if it\'s worth spending quite a bit of money for welcome to bucketheadland , somewhere over the slaughterhouse, day of the robot or even Giant Robot NTT? also what kinda of cd is island of lost minds? and is acoustic shards a good cd?

You can download Giant Robot NTT for free on the net legally - got to TK.

How many CDs can you buy/how much do you have to spend?

1st off grab the two Thanatopsis Cds you don\'t have, Peppers Ghost, Chicken Noodles, Colma, and Praxis - Transmutation.  That is 6 essential BH discs right there you can get for aprox $15 - 20 each with S&H.  If you have more loot then that I can suggest more great BHs.

Eventually you\'ll want them, but you can better BH cds cheaper in the meantime.

and is acoustic shards a good cd?

Yes- very good!

also what kinda of cd is island of lost minds?

VERY heavy like Cuckoo, but not as good - it is ok - not my favorite.

The other two Thanatopsis CDs have similar style as the first one.  Chicken Noodles is similar to Population Override, but mellower.

A very nice collection you have going Gir!  :)

Acoustic Shards...is beautiful and precious for so many reasons...personnaly i believe every fan should have it.

I\'ve always been delighted with each purchase i\'ve made...I love every bit of Bucket\'s music.

Wishing you the best through the journey of decision...sometimes stabs in the dark are great surprises ;) That\'s kind of what I did...and it\'s always fun for me...the not knowing...then being enlightened,  captivated, dismembered, and disembodied when i pop in the CD.   ;D
BIG HUGZ!

island of lost minds takes awhile to grow on you, and once it does its a great album. its just the extreme wierdness at some parts that can throw people off. (dream darts for example :o)

WHEREZ UR KOLMA?!!!  ;)

I really like Day of the robot, any of the hard to find\'s are a must, see this is the thing I couldn\'t stop till I had everything and it\'s worth the world to me now  ;D.I am listening to Sea of expanding shapes off Bermuda T, this song is right up there as a favorite

Welcome to Rossington Land

Definitely Colma.  After that maybe another Thanatopsis or the other Cobra Strike.

Alright.

First of all you can go to the Welcome to Bucketheadland site and download Nottingham Lace off that album for free.  However, that is the only instrumental song, so keep in mind that masterpiece is not really like the rest of the album.

Enter the Chicken is one of Buckethead\'s most traditionally structured albums.  He strays away from the weird noises and keeps it more mainstream.  The songs are completely different because of the multitude of singers.

People have mixed opinions because of the singers, but I personally really like it.

See these reviews on buckethead.tk for more info: http://bucketheadland.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=wedges&action=display&thread=1129907014

I got bucketheadland the other day and i think its awesome, alot of the tracks are starnge noises, but its really cool. I like listening to it whilst lying down, it feels relaxing.
