QuoteI just have to ask. What music will it be? Will I hear that good funk I love so much? his great wah pedal, jazz, and something like Anatomize that I also really really like. Will I also hear something like New Year?

Am really exited to finaly take the time...and money to go and buy ISOT.

There are some great funky tracks on ISOT for sure, some are really lengthy jams that go about 15 minutes a piece, and they\'re just amazing. Well worth the price alone if you ask me.

There\'s also a lot of Death Cube K-sounding stuff on it, really ambient sounding stuff with just experiments and sounds effects thrown in. Some may call that filler songs, but I think they\'re just as good as the rest of the stuff.

Some of the stuff sounds very reminiscent of his Kaleidoscalp material, circuit bending and that stuff, just weird sounds and noise.

There are some tracks that sound like they could have come off Colma on it, just mellow tunes usually set to just a drum machine. Some great melodies running through these songs, that\'s for sure.

Then there are tracks that just have great riffs going for them, just don\'t expect anything as polished as Elephant Man\'s Alarm Clock or anything. They\'re still good, but in a more of a "diamond in the rough" type of way.

It\'s really hard to try and sum up the whole experience of ISOT, the whole 9 and a half hours of it, to someone who hasn\'t heard it. It\'s well worth the money though, especially if you like the funky and jammy stuff you talked about. There\'s quite a lot of that, and I love everything. There\'s some things you probably haven\'t heard on a Buckethead song on some of the tracks, like keyboard parts that resemble a horn section on a couple of tracks, and the quality of both the music and the sound is just top notch if you ask me.

$200 may be a bit too steep for some people initially, but trust me, it\'s all worth the money. It\'s a must buy for the hardcore, die hard fans, and there\'s a lot of great music on these cd\'s. One track is close to 20 minutes of just pure solo-ing and massive shredding, it\'ll make your ears bleed! The last track on Vol. 13 (it has only one track) is 45 minutes long, and it\'s just entrancing with its steady beat and many different parts shifting from hard to soft and back again, it\'s awesome!

So if you\'re a hardcore fan, I definitely recommend that you buy ISOT. I\'m sure you won\'t be disappointed.  8)

Oh, I am a hardcore fan. I started to lisen to him maybe just some months after I started to play guitar, and he took it right to the next level for me. I play and lisen to him all day long. On the bus, at school, and at home. I love how he put so much power in to it, and so much feelings.

I must say that am not so big fan of all the weird noises he makes. I think it\'s really interesting and I often play it, but I like more stuff like Too Many Humans, and stuff like that. I have heard Kaleidoscalp, and I like it, but I had to lisen to the cd sometimes before it really took place.

I must say (and I do feel stupid) I didn\'t hear of Death Cube K before some days ago, so I don\'t relaly know what it is.

I love how he can put all the weird noises togeather and make great music. And the albums with Travis. I can\'t belive it when I hear it. It\'s just so great, but he is behind the piano this time right?

I think I will like this box set. I think am going to try to get it this weekend, but would love to hear more about it.

I would really like to buy atleast one volume, because I don\'t have $200.

What CD has the best tracks?  (My favorite buckethead songs are soothsayer/welcome to bucketheadland)

just being my strange self, but i have to say that i was amused to check in here on friday the 13th, to see that this topic, on the 13 cd set, is 13 pages long.  it doesn\'t take a whole lot to amuse me.

** Travis, one of those cd\'s from the void showed up, to the o.h. address.  i sent it back on the 12th... added a little art, just for you : )

if you think of it, let me know that it made it.

Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.

Is there any news on whether orders on the 29th of march have reached destination yet? I recieved the email about them being dispatched, but 3 weeks later I still haven\'t received it :(

Although, I ordered Crime Slunk Scene (along with 4 other Buckethead albums - but I ordered them seperately) and it came extremely quickly - barely a week after ordering.

ive just gotten mine today.

seriously, ive been patiently waiting form my set to come for the past 2 weeks, and i finally gave up today. so i went to post office to find out what\'s going on with my CDs. guess what, they have it in their damn office! then i asked why wouldnt u guys deliver it. they told me they went but nobody at home ( i was at home for the past few days ), so they left a notice ( which ive never ever seen ). after the talks with them, i finally walked out with my CDs.

honestly, USPS isnt reliable compare to FedEx or UPS. but it\'s just my 2 cents.

btw, mine is #668

I would do what cqcc said he did, go down to your post office and ask around. Maybe they have it just lying around, got lost in the shuffle or something, you never know whether or not they screwed up and/or forgot it or something.

If they don\'t have it somehow, I would e-mail Travis and let him know about it. If your package hasn\'t turned up at your post office it probably got lost, and if so I\'m sure Travis and Buckethead would help you out and get you a new set.

ive been listening those CDs ever since i got them yesterday. all i can say is they r AWESOME~!!

much thanks to Buckethead, and TDRSmusic.

Travis

Alex, are you in Europe? If so, I have seen waits of 4 or 5 weeks because of customs delays. If your in the US, email me your invoice number.

I love Volume 2 (allthough, I have to say, there are, like on most albums in my opinion, a few filler tracks). But the 16 minutes long song number 5 is one of the best things I\'ve ever heard. It\'s allready woth buying just because of this song.

And the 10 minutes long song number 2 is really good, too. ;)

I\'m from England.

I took your advice and went to the post office. I\'m really disappointed with them because:

They\'ve pretty much ruined my CD set with the storage conditions and the way they\'ve treated my package.

My set has bent corners, on CD numbers 1 and 10, the 2 layers of card that make the cover are separating on CD\'s 3 and 4 ( this is the worst thing - VERY noticeable and will definitely hinder the value of my set). And on CD 12 and 13 there is a small bend in the right side of the cover. It\'s really disappointing for me - especially because they also charged me £26.89 customs for this cosmetically flawed set.  :(

I\'m sorry to have to say these bad words - but I\'m 100% certain it was nothing to do with you guys at TDRS.

My set is number #665 :)

Travis

Alex, send me an email with your invoice number, I\'ll get you fixed up.

alexlemon2

What do you mean fixed up?

What happened through customs is no fault of yours

Travis

Never stopped me before. Send me your invoice number and a list of the damaged covers.

alexlemon2

Sent

Is there any info on whether my other order has been dispatched ?
