QuoteI really don\'t know specifically about individual countries delays. I only know from what countries I get the most email asking about where their orders are. By far and away those are the UK, England mostly and Germany. Holland, not so much. Italy I have had complaints about. Japan and Australia seem to be the best.

It seems to be random as only a small amount of mail is actually stopped and checked against the invoice, but in those cases the delays can be very long. That\'s one of the reasons ( it\'s illegal is another ) that we never falsify customs forms.

Some packages are just charged VAT and moved along quickly. But in the almost 20 years I have been doing this, less than a handful of orders have actually disappeared never to be seen again. All the rest eventually showed up.

If you have been waiting on an international order over two weeks, check your invoice and make sure you entered your address correctly, if it\'s OK, you need to allow up to and sometimes a bit more that 4 weeks before you need to worry thats it\'s been lost.

As far as charges, you need to contact your local customs office and see what your country charges are. They are all different. I have have had email from people mad at me for charging extra for importing. I have nothing to do with that and have no way of knowing what or if you will be charged.

I think if you order something from another country it should be a good idea to familiarize with your particular countries import taxes and duties.

I get so many email from international customers I felt I should post something. Also it may be a good idea to start a thread for those to post your experience in your country so others have a reference about what to expect.

Ok, thank you fo the information Travis !  ;)

i heard 3 songs out of the 27, with is roughly a little over 10% of the whole album. And those tracks were great, but i still havent hehard the rest of it, and i would like to have an educated opinion before i buy something.

Still undecided if ill buy Forensic Follies alone or will one of these new releases be joining also XD

one of the songs i heard has bass in it, and it has very cool riffs. Ill try to tab it when i get to my home so all can get a picture of what is like. Also i should note that none of the song i heard has a guitar solo, and one has annoying game-like sounds from keyboards which bothers me cuz behind it there is a great acoustic guitar and drums

A lack of solos doesn\'t bother me too much, and from what you\'ve said, I do hope the keyboards isn\'t a distraction for me.

so let me get this straight.. you come to a fan board of an artist.. to tell us that you have stolen songs?

I know it isnt a big deal to some and HUGE deal to others.. but I find it strange that you are going on and on about this and nobody has pointed out that illegal sharing of bucketheads music is Extremely looked down upon No matter what the reason you have them.

Also unless I am mistaken, I would say you are well aware of the attitude buckethead fans have about illegally sharing his music since I have seen your name around buckethead forums for quite some time.

*EDIT***Not talking rarities here, talking about the tracks on the new cd being in the possession of someone who does not yet have(or even decided if they will buy) the cd

^^^^ maybe someone posted some tunes on YouTube. I dunno... The only stuff I have from buckethead that I didn\'t pay for is the binge tapes and the giant robot demo tape tracks. If he re-issued them I\'d buy them in a heart beat! Even though I have the media already.

But yeah, people that steal Big-b\'s work that\'s still in-print should go hang themselves. Without our support, bucket is just wasting his precious time. Even though niass, FF, BR, and SC are not great, I still made the purchase in hopes of enjoying them (I did not..) and support buckethead, instead of stealing them.

Thank you both for the above most appropriate comments.  I think we\'d all be first in line with cash in hand if certain rarities were made available.  And . . . even if you haven\'t listened to FF in a while, that outrageous staccato manic roller-coaster rhythm will come and find you in a silent moment and rock your head from the inside out.  Just wait, you\'ll see.

I like to be honest, i dont know whats the purpose behind lying specially in a internet forum. I dont come here to agitate the waters for everyone.

My racionality behind downloading and then buying, ive said it a million of times. Its not that ive downloaded everything and never bought anything, I do, i bought CSS (Travis signed it), EMAC, SC, SBTS. Money to me is not something i get most of the times, i only get money 2 times a year, and thats it, its not much. I try to make it the best i can with it.
Now, i donwload and then buy because i like to know what im buying, i like to be informed of what im going to get, now some people would say that that ruins the fun of the ride, but to me the ride is new everytime i hear it. I enjoy from track 1 till the last second of the last track of every album i buy. Also when i buy an album in this times were you can download everything and dont even bother to pay for it (i know, friends i know say why u buy albums if u can download them??), i think im making a statement (not that anyone would care but i do), this is that ok i like what i hear i think the musician deserves the money for that album in particular, is like saying "Dude, i like your music. Here is 15 bucks for it, i hope you continue to do this kind of music". I like to pay for what i like not only one track or for something i dont like. I buy the album that Buckethead makes, because that train of tought which made that album made an impact in me, and i like to acknowledge the creator of such album with buying it. I dont and never will buy everything that buckethead as on the air (unless im filthy rich, which as a future archaeologist i doubt it will happen) ill support what i like not blindly following fanatism. for example, i would never buy IoLM or FW.

The only time i bought an album in the moment was SC cuz it had samples, and i liked the samples, so i bought it but it was after 2 days of the announcement of just hearing smaples most of the time to choose if i buy or not. Also a big plus it was an LE.

Also i dont think myself to be a "fan". Fanatic ppl tend to do crazy things (look at fanatism in any way). I havent encountered such things at the TK, which leds me to belive that they are not "fans" per se, they just lack of a better word to describe them. I would belive that the word would be "Enthusiast", but my english is not very good to find a better word for the TK.

Im going to get a lot of bad rep for this but thats how i roll, i hope ppl can understand my point of view, and not crusify me for what i think its right. I specially dont want to see the mind numbing coment of downloading music is bad, cuz plz be honest with yourself and the rst who hasnt downloaded an album or a song without paying?. If u havent u get my respect ;D ;D

Ok i think ive made my point clear, but if it need explanation i can try and explain it differently ;D :P

I received my KR today.  I listened to all of it.  I think it is overall a better release than BR.  The songs are more structured and it has quite a few memorable moments on it.  I think some people are still going to be disappointed with it though.  The complaints that people had about BR probably still apply to a few of the songs on this album.  I don\'t mind so much, but there are some definite \'noodley\' tracks here.

I\'m expected BasH tomorrow or Monday (fingers crossed).
Have a good one everyone!

@bucketfel

You contradict yourself. If you read any of your posts on the other threads when you were defending bucket\'s albums when I was criticizing his more recent albums (niass,ff,BR and SC) you were going on and on and on about how much of a hardcore fan you are and defended bucket like he was your wife or something(no offense Big-b!). While I was only stating my honest opinion. I dunno about you man.... ....

I dont think im contradicting myself, cuz as far as FF, NIASS, and SC are, i like them a lot, and i would buy them. In fact im planning on buying FF soon, but im waiting to hear more about the new releases.

What i dont think it got clear is that i buy the albums that i completly like. Aplying this logic, ill buy NIASS, and FF (SC i already got it) when i got the money to buy it cuz i like the albums, and they have an impact on me XD

I belive that you think im contradicting myself cuz your thinking they arent good XD. I dont mean to be rude, i like those rides and ill buy them anytime over other clasic albums like PO or PG, and DToB.  (always asuming that i got the money to buy such albums)

As far as defending as a "hardcore fan", i dont think so, there are a lot of albums that i dont like from buckethead like IOLM, FW, BT, CS, among others. What i did defend is that to me those albums were great. Just those albums not all of buckethead albums. Also as insensitive as it may sound, i dont care about the Buckethead persona or the guy behind the mask, im here cuz of the music, nothing else. =P

^^^So you are basically saying you have taken it upon yourself to apply the way several albums in the music industry have gone with the "pay what you can" or "pay what you want" concept.. and are applying it here to bucketheads TDRS releases.

I\'m not sure,I\'ve never tried but I don\'t think you can legally go to a steakhouse, get a filet, take a few bites and say.. "yes it was ok.. but I didn\'t like it enough to pay for it." and then leave.

Again I\'d like to point out.. you are on the artists site, defending why you think its ok to steal their music, when you are aware it is pretty much direct to artist here, and you close by saying you will buy something, but not until you get a chance to steal some more tracks and hear them first.

And yes I know lots and lots of people who do not steal music, I personally do not see the point; some artists are ok with trading, providing samples.. and some are not, but THEY make that decision.

To say stealing music is common so I will too.. is not an excuse. In some countries rape is common.. does that make it ok? NO

^^^^^In bucketfel\'s defense, I know people that are mentally challenged... Perhaps he can\'t help being but a complete idiot  ;D

Support, don\'t steal. If you can afford it, wait till you can, get a better job, or ask your mommy. I have easily spent close to $600.00 (maybe more, I lost track) on big-b\'s stuff. DVDs, shirts, LEs, regular CDs and concert tickets. Even though some of the CDs didn\'t agree with me(2009-present), I still bought them to help bucket out and have em in my collection. Same thing with Jason Becker and the ASPCA, I donate $20.00 a month to both. They need our support and so does bucket, buy his stuff!!! Fuckers!
