Just want to say one more thing. The album is amazing. I don\'t know if I should cry, or just have something hot to drink and think about life for an hour. I think I will do both. Brings me back to why I started to lissen to Buckethead in the first place. The songs are slow, easy on the ears and just pure perfect.

There are still two albums I need to get, and I might just trow this one in as well. DAMN, I need to work a lot this Christmas :S

id like to say that iv listened to the album several times now, straight run through and shuffle. I think the album (is obviously about Captain eo\'s voyage) but, if you listen. I think that as the album progresses, it opens up more in melody and dynamic. The start is quite, sombre and uncertain (could be the uncertanty in the voyage) but as it opens up, things get a little brighter, which could convey the uncertanty has turned into realisation or hope within the voyage and album... I dunno, something like that haha...

Great last couple of posts.  This is a very emotion filled album.  At first I liked it but thought that ARDITR was better.  I have now listened to it over a dozen times (probably well over) and it is simply amazing.  As much as I love ARDITR I think this is a better album overall.  The difference between the best and "worst" song on it is negligible.  They are all amazing and they all fit together very well.  This album feels as much of a journey as IM does to me, just a lot more relaxed and contemplative journey.  Usually by now I feel like I know an album pretty well but this still feels very fresh and surprising in ways.  There is a lot going on for something so simple seeming at first.  Very beautiful, sad, haunting, and hopeful all at once.

I\'m assuming IM stands for Inbred Mountain cause that is one of Buckethead\'s greatest works and is one of my favorite wedges. Experimental Rock at it\'s best that album.

Yeah.  That album is kind if the pinnacle of his releases to me,  II can\'t definitively say it is my favorite, but it is the one that probably most impresses me.  I think it is just brilliant.  Obviously, Captain EO\'s Voyage is a completely different thing, but as I said it feels like a voyage to me.  I rarely listen to any of IM on its own, and I doubt I will with this either.  They both deserve to be heard straight through.

Yeah I agree with you man. For me, after listening to the samples Captain EO\'s Voyage is like ARDITR and Electric Tears blended together with some slabs from a slunk slaughter slaughterhouse. It just has this very slight metal crunch and feel to it. Can\'t wait for it to get on TDRS so I can buy the physical thing.

I agree with Y\'all. I feel that this album is constantly evolving to my ears. I think I know it and then i hear something new. To be honest, I love ARDITR and SBTS because to me they\'re like a brother and sister album, much like peppers ghost and Assylum. But the thing I like about this album is the space feel and the constant unknowing atmosphere.

Does anyone think that Big B will release anything else before the year is out?
