Hi Travis,

With regards to the artist support idea, is there a way to send the artist a message with the donation? I have given to Buckethead in the past via this method, and have just done so again, but I would like to be able to enclose a few words, such as .."just got my taxes back and wanted to share some of it with you," ...or " The cost for tickets to the shows I just attended was way too cheap for the amount of enjoyment you have given me, so here\'s a little something extra."

Any of your thoughts regarding this would be much appreciated.

Travis

First, thank you for your support, it\'s much appreciated.
There is a comment section on the Paypal pay form.
If you make a comment there, while making your donation, I\'ll pass it along to who ever your supporting.

no comment section on the donation page i just went through....

i really didn\'t have any comments anyways....

except thanks.... but there was no section... hmmm

I did not see a coment section either. Maybe an alternative idea would be to send a check directly to you, the that way the scalpers at paypal don\'t make any money, and the artist gets it all.

Just a thought.

The comment section comes up when ordering merchandise, but not on the artist support page.

Hmmm, is right. I thought there was always a comments opportunity on the Paypal  form. I\'ve been working on a more comprehensive support system and comments can be a part of that. I realize the contributions have had very little feedback once the donor makes a contribution, but your contributions are greatly appreciated in addition to helping compensate an artist for the enjoyment you derive from them, it can directly affect if a certain CD is released or cover the costs of handling a special release situation.
When you make a contribution, we know who you are and we keep track of  our patrons, so thank you.
