The neck is mahogany, but I think the fretboard is  rosewood. The finish is satin vs gloss

QuoteI don\'t do this very often but I admit I downloaded this and already burned it to cd. Does this count as illegal downloading, idk? Well I can\'t undo what has already been done so I decided this was a great opportunity to donate some money - I made a $5 donation to Big B and you can too - here is the link http://tdrsmusic.com/artist_support_page.html

I know it is hard times for many right now but we all enjoy the tributes that Buckethead puts on his website so why not show him how stoked we are by making a small donation - c\'mon bots I challenge everyone who listens to the new tune to donate a lil sumpin\'. Now get crackin\'!
....

Great idea and I did the same thing!

Hopefully everyone has read and passed along the ideas that Travis has about supporting the Artists you enjoy in these days of digital downloaded copies.

The Music Zoo has the regular / original Buckethead Signature Les Paul in stock - not the new " Studio " version.

Don\'t order off the net if you plan to buy, call and you may / should be able to get a better price.

Yes - they\'ve been around quite a while and particiapte on a couple of Les Paul guitar boards.  The also are vendors at a lot of the Mid-Atlantic guitar shows.  I would think there may be a little negotiation room too.

I think his sig LP has some sort of pick up selector that allows him to use single coils. I\'m not sure about that, so don\'t spread it all over the Internet!

From Gibson\'s site

Tone Control
The Buckethead Signature Les Paul features a single Tone control that comprises a 500k non-linear potentiometer for a natural transition from full treble to bass tones. The Tone control also carries a built-in push/pull switch to engage the coil splitting in the bridge pickup and achieve single-coil-like tones.

I have this one on lay-a-way - hopefully getting it home this weekend.  They are not too easily found these days, this one was a trade in, dead mint condition.
