I have been hearing mixed reviews, and am wondering if anyone on here has checked out this axe at all.  I know it has an extra long neck, border of being a baritone guitar. Does it work with a standard tuning? Just wonder on opinion from you all.  Thanks in advance

So what are your thoughts on it box?!  Do you keep it in standard E-tuning? and how is the fret size?  Do you need monster hands to hit 5 fret separations?

i personally think i should get that guitar since im pretty tall (6\'1\'\') for a chinese bot that is. the current one i have is an SG and it feels alright to me but i need a thicker body so my arm wont be uncomfortable.

You mean, why does your butt hurt? Well, it doesn\'t. Thank you for your concern, how kind of you. You must know all about being "butthurt" if you think it would cause discomfort and make people type a certain way.  I was only pointing out that you had a BH signature guitar... Have a great day and take care of that butt.

I\'ve been contemplatling it as well since I\'m about 6\'3" but the guitar I have is pretty much like his just not a gibson, doesn\'t have those pickups and isn\'t oversized.

I have this one on lay-a-way - hopefully getting it home this weekend.  They are not too easily found these days, this one was a trade in, dead mint condition.

? Got Killswitch ?

I played one and really liked it. The neck was way thicker than most guitars and the extended scale length is definitely noticable, but didn\'t bother me at all after a couple minutes of adjusting. The over all body is bigger, too. It actually made me try a little harder, which may bother some people....

The pickups were very responsive and cleaned up really well with lower volume level. I wish I would have had the $ at the time...

Not too easily found?

I\'m not sure about that... i mean to find a shop that actually has one in stock to check out is a lot different than just ordering one.

So yes to find one in a shop might be difficult, but to get one... doesn\'t appear to be an issue at all if ya got the money.

Stopped making them?  can\'t find any information that supports that.

D,  thats only cuz Gibson doesn\'t tell their customers anything about availability lol!
