Lets all hope that Gibson releases a signature Buckethead Les Paul.
Where can I buy a luck bean?

QuoteExcept for where to find the white guitar bridge. That\'s what I had difficulty finding.

(Btw, the X2N\'s are awesome, I picked one up a couple months ago, they have a killer sound/)

BH has a new gibson with a gold bridge. He\'s using it on this tour.

the pickup\'s (which is what everyone seems to want to know)
neck p/u is a Dimarzio Tone Zone, bridge p/u is a Dimarzio Air Norton.
Do you mean the other way around? Dimarzio Tone Zone for bridge and an Air Norton for neck. That seems to be a popular Dimarzio combo. I also hear from his guitar tech that his are Gibson 500T and a 496R combo. This is the first time I\'m hearing the Tone Zone/Air Norton combo as far as buckethead using them.

O_o Gold bridge... Imagining that I still think that the white bridge is nicer, just because it\'s his signature... But w/e, I still can\'t wait to see him in October.

But with the white hardware, Gibson had nothing to do with it it seems.

"They did say however that they hadn\'t seen the white metal hardware before, so I assume it was custom made for him."

The wiring I am sure has one tone adjustment for both pickups (observing the change in tones live), and the bridge pickups tone in about all of his guitars is a on/off spdt killswitch (same wiring I had done)

Everytime I see this thread I think it should say "Buckethead pickup lines".  Like, "Is that a severed hand in your pocket or are you just happy to see me."

I know nothing about guitars.

haha it\'s ok, we won\'t judge you.

favorite pickup line, non buckethead related-

If you were a booger, I\'d pick you first.

i can tell u for a fact that the pickups on his new les paul are gibson pickups with the covers removed. it even looked like the neck pu was painted white at one point. I not sure what he used before but those were gibsons with the cover removed.

P.S. WHO CARES?

For those guitar players, it can help you determine which pickups you should get yourself. All of the pickups make a different and unique sound, and some people might want the same that Buckethead has. He does have a nice sound you know....
