Guitarists of all time list, July 2008 issue.

FYI

eazycomez

anyone else agree that NL is his \'signature song\'
I think I do lol

Nubbins

Nottingham certainly isn\'t his end all be all song, but it\'s not a bad example. At least they didn\'t say Jordan.

How about Shawn Lane with the fastest alternate picking at 18 nps?

Nottingham Lace is my favorite Bucket tune. The song has everything, the structure, the solo, the dynamics-I have played it 5 times in a row back to back. I have turned on around 8 people to Bucket with that song. Congrats Big B !

the one thing I dislike about Guitar World is that they always feel the need to throw his \'real\' name in there. I mean, respect the guy\'s privacy for christ\'s sake! I don\'t know if Buck really has a signature song... he\'s played on so many! At least they acknowledged him though, the last time he was in there Steve Vai beat him for \'Best Shredder.\' Love Vai, but honestly Bucket can shred better, in my opinion.

I agree completely....Buckethead deserves our utmost respect!!!

"Folks just call him Buckethead"
how hard is it for people to understand that... >:(
I also dunno that he has a "signature song"... so many amaZING Wonka flavors...hard to peck just one. I love every bitz and piece...and certanly his hands ARE lightning speed...an INFERNO the strings on fire...he\'s smoking this tour for sure! Bucket\'s  hands never cease to disembody my happy headstump!!  i stand staring hyptnotized with a big ole psycho smile on my face shredded to peeces,  every time I see him live!  :D

BIG HUGZ!  ;D

Buckethead\'s a psycho
he\'s a total psycho

Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.

Thanks nuff-said.  That warmed my heart.

haha, I bought the issue purely because Bucket was in it anyways. Hopefully someday they\'ll call him only by the name he desires to be called. I told my friend about it and he was like, "his real name IS Buckethead."

Aequitas

Bucket can\'t have a signature song. Most artists, if they are good, don\'t really have a signature song. NL may be his shred signature song, but then you have songs like Whitewash,  Hog Bitch Stomp and stuff like Funk Tune. He plays everything. You can\'t summarize Bucket in one song. Not physically possible. :)

Respect.

DawnoftheBucket

Buckethead spans so many different genres (rock, funk, metal, blues, jazz, country, classical, even hip-hop) that there can\'t be just one song to sum it all up. Unless he recorded one himself for that sole purpose.
