I\'m getting a lot of mail about the reserve on the painting. My response is at this point if the reserve is a concern, this may not be the purchase for you. Let me see if i can answer a few emails before they are sent to me. As I mentioned before, I have gotten several offers to buy the painting already. Putting them up for auction is my way of trying to be fair to everyone who would wants a chance at them. One, so I don\'t end up conducting a private email auction and two so no one can say, "If I had only known".
The reserve is set around the amount that the current offers are at, it\'s that simple. Putting it on ebay and announcing ahead of time I was going to do that is the fairest way I can think of to handle the sale of valuable art work. The reserve may not be met, or it could go well past it, who knows. At least I can feel good about the fact that everybody at least had the opportunity, if not the means to participate.

Hi Travis, If I could help give the east coast a fighting chance, could you have the auction\'s end after 5:00 est time that would give alot of people time to get home from work and could help the price.

About 1 day left and the reserve has not been met.  Only two people slugging it out for now.  That may change near the end

went for $1000  :o it was $777 right until the last two seconds exactly! I bet someone is really celebrating right now.....
