I didn\'t like the absurdness of Bucketheadland 2.
I didn\'t like the heaviness of Cuckoo Clocks of Hell(I listen to heavy music, but how this is, it\'s hard to tell the songs apart)
I didn\'t like the DJ scratching of Bermuda Triangle(I could stand it in Monsters and Robots because there wasn\'t nearly as much of it)

I have the following albums:
Giant Robot
Monsters and Robots
Population Override
The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell
Enter the Chicken(didn\'t like it, but I know there isn\'t anything else like it)
Crime Slunk Scene
Pepper\'s Ghost

You like "heavier music", and you wish for Buckethead solo material, so i\'ll point you in the direction of The Elephant Man\'s Alarm Clock. Front to back an amazing ride, and there\'s even a hidden bonus wedge packed to the brim with doomshards galore!

I also see that you don\'t have Colma. You\'ll want that eventually...trust me, and if you love it, then run for Electric Tears and Acoustic Shards.

Also, consider getting Inbred Mountain.


When you can, get Axiology and Dawn of the Deli Creeps, and it couldn\'t hurt to ask for In Search of The for Christmas

I\'ve listened to it many times over and can tell the difference in each song. I agree that the drumming is almost the same in each song... eh, not sure what to tell you, maybe it just isn\'t for you.

Maybe I should listen to it more intently. You see, every Buckethead album I\'ve listened to has all the songs sounding the same(besides Giant Robot and Electric Tears) But if I start really paying attention instead of just having it in the background while I\'m on my computer, I can tell the difference.

Anyway, is Island of Lost Minds any good?

Yes, but it is similar to CCoH and if you don\'t like that one too much you might not like IoLM. Although it isn\'t quite as good as CCoH, IMO.

Whatever you do get EMAC as fast as possible, as I say every time.  There is no way you won\'t think it is at least pretty good, if not your favorite.  And it fits in with your described tastes.
