Anyone else considers the track "Bird with a Hole in the Stomach" as a tribute to RATM ?
I\'m wondering why it isn\'t mentionned on the back cover, as a couple of other influences are expicit for other tracks on this CD... Is it because it\'s too obvious ?
Anyway, I love this one especially.

because of musical elements.
When I first heard the beginning of the track, even the quiet part, I imagined Zack de la Rocha over it. Then the riff becomes louder, and it\'s as powerful as Tom Morello\'s playing (the guitar sound is similar also). And, then, at about 1:27 a new riff arrives, and it\'s very very close to a RATM track. If that\'s not enough, then notice that Buckethead\'s guitar/scratch sound has evolved here, and sounds more like... Tom Morello again.

well he has been busting out some RATM at his recent shows, so its possible I guess

I\'ve been listening to this song/album a lot lately, and I think you\'re actually onto something with this.   The more I hear it the more I do recognize a lot of Rage type guitar sounds.

It\'s funny to think that now Bucket can do Tom Morello and make it sound even better than Tom Morello.   :D

I have to agree with you - the more I hear the song, the more it does seem like a tribute to Morello....  :o

I believe this is the case... a friend mentioned to Bucket that he partiicularly liked this track and Bucket said something like "is that the Rage one?" in response...

you have a special friend.
