heard this strange noise coming from the Bicycle tonight on my way home from work, the darnest thing, I stopped in the dark street, it stopped, shined my light on the bike frame expecting something melty but nothing, then get a load of this it starts up agien going up a hill and changes pitch, kinda like rubber on metal, that I could feel in the frame.  

weird YES I only wish I could record it.

Orogans and Bells , I really dig Keys that can make those sounds, my board was like $12.00 from Radio Shack (yes the one made for kiddies) it has drifted in and out and back in my life as an estranged campanion, I can\'t shake the thing.

I\'m so so at playing the piano straight up...

but good Freak on DS and if your so strapped for cash try hitting the local Liberary, they may or may not have CD\'s but they may have some real gone cats.

Scored another Moondog album today with one track I found on the Internet called Surf Sessions.

Also sents I\'m a King of the Hill NUT! I got a Chuck Mangione Album called Finest Hour....

Only other Sounds I\'ve been experimenting with is some old tapes, am radio fuzz, foot orogan, scratch Invisible hand...

soon I wanna remix Ducks and feedback together, the Ducks being the Percussion and the feed back being just noise.

Last night I was watching the Boston and Montreal hockey game.  I kept listening to the clack of the sticks as they struck each other and the ice.  I would love to record a whole game and then sample this sound slowly and then speed it up...it might be crazy especially during a power play.  I think it might mix well with a little Spanish guitar, Hammond organ, and electric violin.

Has anyone recorded hockey sticks hitting the ice or other sticks during a game?

What I\'ve recorded so far as an Underground underground Recording Artist, TV Movies and Sitcoms (when they are not fuzzy) Movie dialog, answering machine speak, glass veiled vocals, doorbells, spoons on Bass\'s, toilets flushing, Ukuleles (in tune and way out of tune) Guitars, pots and pans, trashcans, mysteriose audio tapes , dictonarys and thesauruss, keyboard in trashcan, BASS, Flutes, Harmonica\'s, telephones (by accident), Ducks, Geese, Feedback, Backfeed, Scratch, Breath Electric and Acoustic Guitars.... to name a few.

No Hockey though, Ice would have sound, but dry Ice has the best sound a great cue for this would be the Star Wars Movies, close combat with the lightsaber\'s.

Hockey Sticks on Ice slowed down and sped up as in Pitch and or BPM?!

Fantastic diversity of sound fx, and huge collection.  Do you sell them or just use them for your own creative endeavors?

Good point about the ice having sound too.  Getting the clacking hockey stick sound would be hard to capture because of the ambient noise, skates and ice; at least in a rink.  It would be hard to mike in during a live game, so it would have to be during practice, and I don't have those kind of connections.  

Maybe my best bet is to tape a game on TV and try to strip out the noise I don\'t want.

Oh yeh, I was thinking of speeding up the BPM, but I like the idea of playing with the pitch too.

I Mix them up in things I like to call songs, sorta mad scientist like.... other would percieve them diffrently

To Mike a game would sound like noise, to be pro in thinking you\'d would have to stike it out and stay on, after the rink closes and then, do the recordings, the trick is to not get caught by, security, the next team or the loosers.

What the hek am I talking about.... First track normal percussion sound, second track would be the faster BPM, then an Under current or octave down would be track three the low brow, fade in an out inbetween each then at the right interval input Spanish Guitar, Hammond Organ and Electric Violin.... or six tracks total.

congrats yer first experiMENTAL Single is made, Mix it, remix that and play with eight more in a diffrent style than the first and You have an Album worthy of Yer Name, Band, Title, the people around You will be WOW\'D.

I was wandering, as if stupifide by the merch (not far from the truth) and over by the cooler drinks I happened along, a broken air conditioner vent, valve exploring it further I tapped it and sit on it, to see if the pitch would change or the rythmic confussion would stop, but no just a cool new sound.

few things before I pass out for the weekend I found n bought Praxis Zurich and Sacrafist, also found a album called Martian Lust by Toulouse Engelhardt... anyone have this it has a skantly clac space Girl on cover with her robot dogs, very exciting stuff, worth a mention with sounds from Mosrite Guitars, sadly the jewel case teeth were all busted out so it lives with Sacrafist fer now.

But anywho just thought I\'d speak...

I finally got one of these at Lark in the Morning in SF last Friday.

The Ocean Harp, is a really cheap version of a Waterphone, I was going to ask if Death Cube K had one becuase they are used in Horror Movies.

I\'m excited to finally take this turn into a Experimental Artist, I will post more on this turn of events as time progresses.
