It totally blew me away. The only things of Buckethead\'s I\'d got before were Bucketheadland 1 & 2, and my feelings on those were mixed, still are. Mostly good, but a few not so much.  But PO, whoa, that was super throughout!

I know, I know, must try some more of his others. Soon...

hey oldfolkie - have you gotten the Thanatopsis CDs yet?  they\'re fantastic - i think i\'ve made my partner a BH believer because of those...  or maybe it\'s Travis\' fine touch that brought her around, i dunno...

either way - fantastic music in those little reflective slices

No, gkg, I haven\'t. I have downloaded the MP3\'s and enjoy them, but I just went for some Vince DiCola & Lindy Dickerson - Thanatopsis is going to have to wait a little while. My CD & book budget isn\'t a budget anymore, it\'s a national disaster.

However, the Thanatopsis series is definitely on my wish list, along with the new Beyond Baroque reading and Viggo CDs when they come out. Guess I\'ll have to talk nicely to Mr. VISA...

Oh yes, not from here, but I\'ve picked up some Eliza Gilkyson lately - she\'s amazing as both singer & song-writer. If you haven\'t yet, have a listen to her "Land of Milk & Honey" CD. Great stuff in these political times!

Eliza\'s going to be in southwestern Ontario & here am I stuck at the other end of the province on the dates she\'s there.   Oh well, have to try to catch her next tour, I guess. And buy up the rest of her CD list!

maybe, you could try driving down to the Maine gig, yeah?  man that is a wonderful state, and i don\'t just say that because my son was born there.  it has some of the most gorgeous wilderness and coastline on this continent.

as it stands here we\'re gonna have to try to drive to redwood or something... if we manage to catch her.  still trying to sweet-talk budget into coughing up some dough.
