CMoss did a lovely little 1min clip for a painting of mine called Creative Flow and I will try to post it this weekend (bouncing among 3 PCs right now)... really love the piece.  everyone i\'ve been able to play it for loves it.

Here are some fact about the first flp album.

1.i was 17, and i sung, playinf L guitar, Bass and drum programming.. caleb did guitar R, bass, keyboards and lyrics

2. the first 4 songs were recorded with headphones instead of a microphone, as we had no microphone

3.the song crockery time joe was an ode to joey santiago from the pixies "rock me joe" work it out! and is 1 of the 2 songs i wrote, i also "wrote el da paso"

4. goran the mincer is ment to me as it is.with caleb taking over vocals .this is a dedicated song about one of our good drummer friends who was in forret ghump explosion. there is a studio version of it on the "FLP EP"

5. The FLP doest know anyone called carol, so carols anthem was to them laydees who we dont know..

6. i used a screaming closet for my big vocals..whcih was my wardrobe....it acted like a dead room and stoped the neightbours complaining

7. we was drunk recording AOC and every album after that we drunk more and more.. so these dregs cant be drunk is a drunken mess of pure genius\'s..

  today had a long talk with my guitar tech friend Ron Cowden and Yer name came up , He was saying the same thing that there some studio\'s in Dixon and Vacaville but he did\'nt know of any in Davis .
So what I\'m going to probably do is get a ? track recorder and make my sleepy music that way I can free up the computer and all will be well .
But I\'m still at a loss on to which recording system I should get....

  don\'t know why I picked it up but new Recording mag had an Artical on how to Mic up a Guitar, Fiddle, Lap er pedal Steel, Acoustic .. Go get one most informative.

  I ain\'t Lost anymore I may be getting a Newer Computer soon and I wanna get some software  for, the last software was Acid Loops very fun but most vexing in do of no supprt when computer crashed system wide overloade I wanna get two titles, guitar tracks pro this is by cakewalk and absynth synthesis software, I know this ( Computer based ) music is on a sky rocketing rise but I\'m not a bugillionair can\'t afford studio time, can\'t get a bloody 8 track unite majig so I\'m sticking with what I know and if I burn out another computer drive so be it.

  yeah but Nah ! don\'t know how I tryed sending Celeb and or Chris Moss some of my Music over a mail server but cold tomato\'s nada, thee other day I was playing host to some friends and my Ax slinging Friend Tom played this thing with some of my FX and it caught me sounding like a Laser shooting action, so I reproduced it and started wailing away this to back it I switched everything around with the same FX and Animales sounded from the amp, Now I did want it to be all cute and Purring so I decreases the speed and reversed it and came up with a most diabolical sound ever the whole thing was 16+ mins so alls smiles from here on out.

Yeah I\'ve been getting into some very trippy things lately I was most taken by Jerry Garcia\'s Water effect on View from the Vault 3 and I\'m getting right handed riffy with Iommi\'s style of riffs and I Adore Death Cube K\'s Music but if I could bridge the gap with some fancy but bright George Harrison like Tiny Tim Ukulele Melody and then finish it out with a studdering Acoustic all fazed out.
 I would love to get back into bass and get a fretless, mix everything with the computer software from the above post ( somewhere) I\'d have something to be proude of, but I am only a lolly Janitor " and the days run away like wild Horses " Bukowski ,wrote that somewhere...drizzle drizzle

bright, trippy, ukelele... with that and the other things you\'ve said about instruments and such, i gotta ask if you\'ve checked out One Ring Zero.  they are great and a total hoot - finally caught them live at a reading in bizerkely - unusual, fun, really enjoyed it.

hey guys, Chris, Chris, Travis, et al - have any of you ever heard Greg Lake\'s guitar version of Fanfare for the Common Man?  SOOO great.  i love moog, but this beats the moog version all to hell.
