K, here\'s the latest. The new release date from ION is May 4th. As hard as we tried to get it out sooner thats the official release date as of today. I have talked with ION and Bayside the manufacturer and distributor. They have told me they will supply me with CD\'s as soon as they are off the press and that should be well ahead of the official release date, perhaps 2 or 3 weeks from now, close to the original release date. Therefore I have decided to accept pre-orders for this CD. So if your so inclined you can pre order here
http://tdrsmusic.com/moforderform.html. Be aware, credit cards will be charged and checks will be cashed and god really know when the CD will arrive, but there is a good chance it will be well before anyone else has them.

Hey Travis,

Are you going to mail out the pre-orderer copies as soon as you get them -- even if it is before the official release date?

Oh yes, the day they come in they are going out. I truly hope it\'s well before the official release date.

I\'m just going to try to sneak this track from Population Override on here till I smell smoke coming off my server. Then I may have to pull it and make other arrangements . So for today at least this is the only announcement I\'m going to make about the track for those who happen to be reading this thread.

Travis, I can\'t (and don\'t want) stop singing your praises! Not only you take so much care of all Bucketbots, but for your great work on both Thanatopsis, Brain Circus etc., too. Then you added this brilliant new board. And now you make us this wonderful gift! Alltough your server started to strike... It\'s an awesome piece of music!
Thank you so so much!

PS: Do you ever sleep???

Travis

Thanks, I appreciate it. My poor server in this case is an old Mac 450 sitting in the corner of my studio and is at the moment lighting up like a Christmas tree. I fear it won\'t be up to the demand. If you folks can resist the temptation to stream the audio and instead download the file, that will help. I\'ll have  a mirror site soon.

YOW!  wiggly worm!  Thanks for the snoot, Travis!

I think it\'s on my harddrive.  It took a while to download, lots of megabites, so I don\'t think I\'m streaming it right now(?)

Megan

Forget that, it was streaming to me on the dsl.  I played around with the keyboard to simulate rightclick and eureka! now it\'s clear I got the mp3 on my drive.

Thanks Megan, I should have warned you it real long and at the higher bit rate so it\'s real big.

the Unrestrained Growth mp3 download is awesome!

I hear buckethead is still very much loving everysecond of his killswitch!

THe Bass sounds really good, may i ask what the effects are or let me guess..... it\'s the micro synth and/or the moog?

one thing i\'ve notised WITH TDRS. the drums sounds...they are absolutly amazing! like on both thanatopsis albums and the live drums on cobra strikes they always sound perfect!

what mics/EQ did you use on the drums?

Nice job fellas..soon as i get some cash thats something i\'m not going to fret about getting..and the new cornbugs too.

Thanks Travis

No problem here, Travis, I dig big!  The sound quality is great so it\'s a small price to pay even if unnoticed.  I think the download seemed slow for the MB size because demand may be squeezing your MAC bot too tight.

Thanks guys, yes Chris that\'s the micro synth. The drums on all those tracks are my selected collection of vintage Gretsch drums as seen in the making Axiology page. The mic\'s are royer ribbons on overheads 421\'s on the toms km 84 on the hat 57\'s top and bottom snare and AKG D112 on the kick. Sometimes as on the Deli Creeps Flesh for the Beast I use a 10" speaker on the outside of the kick as a mic along with the D112. The mic pre\'s are Neve 1073\'s and 3114\'s. Room\'s are sony C37\'s.

oh yes yes yes to Pinchface\'s drumming your drums so!  and I just was tweaked by that waa waa sound starting at 6:59 so like to me that deep repeating wail in TOTWM.
