yes it is a limited release in about 10 or so cities today, probably closest to you would be LA.  It\'s wide release is Sept 30th.

Travis

I believe they are pre selling it. I\'ll wait till I have copies in hand. Should be just a couple of days.

Deblee

Well it is to be released on the 30th in most areas, Darn I have to wait another week. I did see a good preview of it and heard other good reviews of the movie. Something to look forward to! :D

Hi folks!  Hope you don\'t mind me butting in - saw HOV last week.  Glad to see a more grown up movie than the usual Hollywood dross.  All the cast did a great job, esp Vig.  Loved Bill Hurt, wot a larf!  Violence wasn\'t that bad, see worse on tv every night & if DC thought that was porn, he should get out more!!   :D ;)

Look out for the plastic trout!  ;D

tickets are in hand for tomorrow - looking forward to it!  was surprised when VM suddenly turned up on Daily Show - wasn\'t paying attention to what the line up would be last week - quite the hoot... i do want to know just where John Stewart got the notion of Viggo getting himself "unlaid" though... unless that meant he was cancelling their plans for the night?   ;)

i\'m KIDDING! please, no nasty emails... it\'s a joke folks... but really, "unlaid"???   ::)
Peace.

yep - rubber fishes and loads of fun - the Daily Show.  i hope the DC has fun stuff too - we\'ll have to wait and see.

we are actually going to AHOV tonight - we rarely go to movies since it\'s cheaper to wait and Netflix but... we love Cronenberg et al so off we go to plunk down our $25-30 (hmmm... tickets, parking, treats - better take a $50, eh?).

well, well, well - the movie rocked!!  DC did it again - wonderful think piece about so many levels, for me most especially what love and self-esteem mean.  NOT a violent movie really - nothing like the little network TV we watch (CSI could teach people a lesson in how much blood is too much - and i happen to like the original show).  as for the sex - it was done very well - not raunchy but full of passion.  he hit the nail on the head with this one.  VM is right - this could well be the best movie he\'s been in - certainly it\'s right up there from among the ones i\'ve seen.  also, and as someone in their 40s this is important - VM and Maria Bello really score one for the mid-life marrieds in terms of the everyday love and depth of passion.  she\'s not some implant queen, she\'s got an ordinary body that she doesn\'t get all shy about - it\'s a real body that does real things (and well!) - and he\'s not some steroid blowup doll, he\'s just a sexy man doing sexy things.

i came away hoping people will catch on to the depth of the movie.  it doesn\'t give you that "action hero high" or that "sappy love song swoon" - it gives you a hot dose of thinking and we could use a lot more like that.
Peace.
