Im sorry, I don\'t think I can write and record a song by then, due to various reasons (fever, being sick in general, instrument problems, wanting to write other songs) I will be dropping out of the contest. Sorry bucketdog

Yeah, sort of quiet around here.  I hope it\'s because the contestant-bots are busily at work on their projects.  There is a longer period between the announcement and actual contest than before.  This gives everyone more time to create - at least I think that\'s part of the plan.  The bots were enthusiastic when they joined and hopefully we\'ll see that excitement resurface closer to the contest.  I have high hopes for a cool "welcome back" for our Alphabot.  

We\'ve got serious talent from before, like super shredders StuntCoyote and Asylum.  My pick from contest #1, the smooth and high class Siggelump, is back.  Also, Reanimator is coming from his Castle and the Loaf is again at work.  I know Wizard and B-dog have been in production mode with their entries.  There are a lot of new contestants and I expect it will again be very hard to chose who to vote for.

This could be the best hour or so of entertainment on the Internet when we do it.  It seems like good timing to have this sort of fun in honor of the Bucket before he steps back on stage.

Still sort of quiet around here, though.

Ok, I\'ve definetely finished writing a song. I\'ve gotta say, if people finish listening, either their mind will be blown or they\'ll be thinking "this guy sucks!". It\'s pretty experimental.

^^ awesome, glad to have you aboard. Just do the best you can. I doubt all of us can post a all-around perfect video. The deadline will be mid to late February. I\'ll post a date 1 week prior to the kick-off.

We will allow 20 contestants total now. Prize fund stays the same. The contest will start late February or early march because of more contestants showing interest. If anyone else wants to chip in on the prize fund, pm me. We have 16 total so far.

Oh i read it alright...but it doesn\'t make any sense.

There\'s still no due date to be spoken of...usually when a contest is announced, a Start Date and End Date are communicated.

I\'m not a contestant but i have lost interest in it completely. I was going to contribute a prize or something but I was waiting for some concrete details to be released...sweet jeebus, this thing will never "start", never mind end.
