The New Yellow/Golden Mask...

The new mask (what mask?) is a big change, to say the least. It\'s shinier and looks more robotic to my eye...What to do you think? Is it part of an entirely new persona, a fun new fling to spark the imagination, an homage to the sun, or C3P0, binge bling, jaundice...

Ushering in the new color with the old school bucket...just gets a fella wonderin\', y\' know....

I like the new face plate.  Even if he changes it back to the white face plate, it was still a cool idea and I\'ve actually ended up going through with the rainbow idea for my masks.

doesn\'t matter to me, but the white i prefer. the white along side the dark background at his shows looks sweet.

I like the old-school look & yellow face but I think he was just "dressing up" for the occasion. I\'ll bet he comes back with the blue jumpsuit, white mask & bucket when he tours again.

This, the bucket, and jacket make me wonder... The last time he showed up in public, he wore the yellow jacket? Actually, there was the time at Bootsy\'s restarant and the time at Bootsy\'s home studio. So I guess the jumpsuit wasn\'t just a concert thing. The mask... It\'s so weird that he changed it. If he keeps it, it will be hard to get used to. The bucket... He could be changing back. Maybe he got sponsored by KFC and that\'s also why he wears the yellow mask.

If my memory serves, the change to the jump suit and the white bucket did seem to coincide with a certain chicken place\'s promoting meals with a certain music related video game tie in....I dunno...coinky dink or not?

Maybe a recent trip to the land of the rising sun was an inspiration?

^ or maybe it is some sort of color therapy. Yellow is associated with being cheerful and happy, it helps give you a boost when you\'re feeling down. It is a sun color that also inspires creativeness, wisdom and strength. It is a color used to help with overcoming troubles and helps with healing. Hmmm?
