Needle in a slunk stack, and forensic follies was the start of the suckage....... Flame me if you will... I\'m just saying what\'s on my mind.

I\'d hope that you could state your mind without being insulting.  I enjoyed those albums.  Sure I\'d rather have another Inbred Mountain, but I\'d also rather have heard those albums than not.

^^ ok, I\'ll re-phrase myself then...
Joe!!!! Could you fix me a ham and cheese sandwich?!!! Joe!!!! I want some butter for my chips!!!! Joe!!!!

looks like you dont know whats noise and whats not.  ;D

im seriously sick of these fans who go and say..."Oh buckethead has been releasing shit after shit, i wish he could do (insert name of overestimated shred song here) more". I cant belive how spoiled we are and yet we dont apreciate what is in front of us. seriously, look at your music list and tell me 10 artists who release the same or more quantity of music than Buckethead. You may argue that quantity is not quality, but what youre not seing and you should realise that the guy is being creative, and you just want to cage him or stereotype into one thing.
Dont get me wrong i love CSS, EMAC, and so on. But i also apreciate the little jewels that come from these experiments like:

Best Regards: Blue #1, Greenn #2, Yellow #3, and Orange #2
Spinal Clock: Whale on This, Skeleton Dance, and Lafayete\'s Landing
Forensic Follies: Open Coffin Jamboree, Under Sea Scalp, Slunk Shrine, and Forensic Follies
Needle In a Slunk Stack: Carcass Cable, Needle In a Slunk Stack, Mego Frankenstein, and Alpha Sea
Shadows Between the Sky: omg, even with a narrow mind you cannot hate this album, is great from track 1 :P

Those are some examples, there are some songs i also like but i dont remember the titles. But i think i get my point across. If Buckethead would want to do a more mainstream album i think he would already have released some of the past tour songs which were really well accepted.

If you still dont get the point take a guitar, learn a song. Play it over and over. Then play it to an audience (in this case we will supose that the song is good), they will want you to play it over and over, and i think you will get bored of playing it after a while and then ur going to go and do something else.

Ok, im less angry after this rant ;D ;D ;D

PS, i dont thinks this fact matter but after i heard FF and NIASS i felt more urges to hear something this complex to make so i went to hear King Crimson. I really dont see much of a conection but when i hear FF and NIASS i get the same feeling that i get from VROOM from King Crimson 8) 8) 8). Also i would love to see buckethead play one of FF or NIASS on tour as imposible as that may seem

I\'m certain Buckethead would be able to practice his Forensic Follies compositions and play them live. I would love to see that.
I\'ve waited so long before ordering Forensic Follies (ordered with Spinal Clock) because of the comments I had read here. Now, I absolutely love it, and I can\'t wait for Needle in a Slunk Stack to arrive with Kind Regards and Brain as Hamenoodle.

Thanks for your post Bucketfel.

Wizard_beard, I suggest that you try to buy the Bastard Noise/Spastic Colon release with Buckethead. You won\'t be disappointed.

EYE,

Julien

In Search Of The

Spastic Colon.

Even when I read that I just "heh, wow, imagine having a spastic colon".

I just find it hard to believe people are slating these releases before even hearing anything from them. We don\'t know what\'s going to be on Kind Regards, it could be a complete different direction. Hamenoodle I have an idea with, but I\'m not boxing myself in. Neither is Buckethead. May he continue to release his ideas.

@bucketfel

We are not trying to "cage him in"... We just want more than random improv sessions! We want the composed buckethead awesomeness we are used to! He could have composed some awesome stuff with his banjitar and on best regards, but he didn\'t, he noodled his ass off and slapped titles on it. If you\'re a real muscian you can tell the difference. Chill dude, I love Big-B, and reserve the right to criticize him. God knows I\'ve spent enough money on his stuff and will continue to do so  :P

Arthur: Old woman!

Dennis: Man!

Arthur: Man, sorry... What knight lives in that castle over there?

Dennis: I\'m 37!

Arthur: What?

Dennis: I\'m 37, I\'m not old!

Arthur: Well I can\'t just call you "Man"...

Dennis: You could say "Dennis"...

Arthur: I didn\'t know you were called Dennis.

Dennis: Well you didn\'t bother to find out, did you?

Arthur: I did say sorry about the old woman, but from behind you looked...

Dennis: (interrupting) What I object to is your automatically treatin\' me like an inferior!

Arthur: Well I AM king...

Dennis: Oh, King, eh? Oh, very nice... And how\'d you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers! By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society! If there\'s ever gonna be any progress in our society...

Woman: Denny, there\'s some lovely filth down here!
[Noticing Arthur] Oh! How d\'you do?

Arthur: How do you do, good lady. I am Arthur, King of the Britons. Whose castle is that?

Woman: King of the who?

Arthur: The Britons.

Woman: Who are the Britons?

Arthur: Well we all are... We are all Britons... And I am your king.

Woman: I didn\'t know we had a king... I thought we were an autonomous collective.

Dennis: You\'re foolin\' yourself. We\'re livin\' in a dictatorship! A self-perpetuating autocracy in which the working classes...

Woman: (interrupting) Oh there you go, bringing class into it again...

Dennis: That\'s what it\'s all about! If only people would...

Arthur: Please, please, good people, I am in haste. Who lives in that castle?

Woman: No one lives there.

Arthur: Then who is your lord?

Woman: We don\'t have a lord.

Arthur: What?

Dennis: I told you. We\'re an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to sort of act as a sort of executive officer for the week.

Arthur: Yes.

Dennis: But all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting...

Arthur: Yes I see.

Dennis: ...by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs...

Arthur: Be quiet!

Dennis: But by a two-thirds majority in the case of more major...

Arthur: Be quiet! I order you to be quiet!

Woman: Order, eh? Who does he think he is?

Arthur: I am your king!

Woman: Well I didn\'t vote for you!

Arthur: You don\'t vote for kings.

Woman: Well how\'d you become king then?

All wills autonomous and free

To fan again the winds of change

I thought Best Regards was OK, You all didn\'t hear the albums so please wait till you heard them and than discuss about it.

100% agree.
I\'ve always been part of the school of thought that you can\'t judge and album until you actually hear it.
If you listen, don\'t love it and say so, that is totally different.
But that being said, a lot of people are like this now.
If I had a penny for every time I read a crappy statement about an album based on samples or one song, I could pay off my house.

In Search Of The

I\'m probably more excited for these two than I was for Best Regards and Spinal Clock.

I mean, we get bass binges with Brain AND a second installment of this superb collaboration? Just think about what Big B can do on a bass. Just look at these videos:

Imagine a full album of slabs like these and drumming like this:

We\'re being spoiled and I f*cking love it.

slunkatron

We are definitely spoiled.  He has released a ton of albums this year and I still half expect a new release every time I come to TDRS.  Even if you don\'t like his improv-type stuff and just stick with the rest, he still puts out way more than anyone would expect from most musicians.
