So I appear to have done really bad. Is it because my song isn\'t enough like Buckethead? Is it because my song was unique or because people don\'t know what a mandolin is? Maybe I should of used a guitar song - played for 6.5 years instead of 5 months. I originally wrote a guitar song for this, but it didn\'t much sound like Bucket.

I liked your song im personally just more into Bucketheads metal stuff like The Deli creeps ... i never really got into the whole "love song thing" unless its a spoof on it plus its hard to beat backing tracks and a song about a guys grandfather.

For the record you were my second choice because your song was a complete song ,not some random noodling

Yes, I know most people have bad taste in music, but Buckethead fans are way smarter.

Actually, right now Stuntcoyote and myself are the only ones with votes for a metal song (5 and 2 votes respectively). It\'s 30% for metal and 70% for lighter, slower music.

I liked your song. It was definitely was influenced by Buckethead and it was impressive that you could play it on a mandolin.

Disembodiedloaf should have had the most votes. Here\'s a guy that said,"hey, hey screw your stupid guitar, I\'m gonna tear it up on the mandolin!". My song was a quick 45min slap it togeather and record it! And I didn\'t get a single vote. I got some awesome messages and comments on YouTube and I had fun writing it for those 45mins!

So don\'t feel bad disembodiedloaf, this was about the joy of personalizing a song relative to big-b\'s style and the oppertunity to show your fellow bots what ya can do. Realisticly we are all winners as long as you had fun. Because that\'s what this competition was all about.

^^^ I was hoping you were gonna post, Box. I thought for sure you\'d do a metal buckethead type song. I just prefer the heavier stuff and wanted to hear more metal buckethead entries. All were great though.
