FYI people, the next contest is gonna be strictly pure buckethead shred.  You can improv, write a solo, or blast off. To ANY backing track of your choice, even a buckethead one. The contest will be limited to 5 contestants including myself ( I was gonna buy cyborg slunks anyway,but I gotta earn it now). Winner gets any single cd of their choice. In the next few weeks...

i Wish i could shred, i cant even make shords right. For that matter i dont even know were chords are XD

why limited to 5 contestants?  i think the more the better, there really shouldn\'t be a limit. and next time a list of rules should be spelled out in the original post so people aren\'t confused, and there aren\'t any weird stipulations.

It would be really fun with a big contest with a big prize and lots of contestants. But it will be cool to see a contest with just 5 players. There\'s more pressure on them, and it may be a higher standard. Some really nice songs could be born from that.

Yeah, man.  Big round of applause for Bucketdog.  He threw this together for everyone real fast, got a lot quick responses, and then went for it.  Good job.  I figured getting through a first try at something like this without a hitch would be harder than trying to kill a hog with a spoon, which Maximum Bob says doesn\'t work.

I think above all else a rule sheet needs to be made for future contests and if someone doesnt follow them a simple im sorry you didnt follow the rules followed b a flying crane ax kick would be good

You did all right. It was very clear in the first post that the ONLY other instrument may be drums. Still, you didn\'t update the post with EVERYTHING. I almost didn\'t follow the rules, but my OCD ultimately prevailed.

So I appear to have done really bad. Is it because my song isn\'t enough like Buckethead? Is it because my song was unique or because people don\'t know what a mandolin is? Maybe I should of used a guitar song - played for 6.5 years instead of 5 months. I originally wrote a guitar song for this, but it didn\'t much sound like Bucket.
