I thought I would make a separate thread for this and keep updating it for those keeping track. Here\'s a recap of my post in the other thread if you missed it.

------------------
I want to help Bucketheadland find a way to do this (re-press) without depleting valuable resources that are probably being planned to be used for new stuff.  We did this once before so I think I\'ll get the OK to do it again.
However, before I ask, I need to know what the real numbers are more or less.
3 I\'ll do it\'s and 3 "right on\'s" is not enough. So.....
Here\'s a page with a poll. If you might want to participate go here:

http://tdrsmusic.com/repress.php

Vote and once I see we have the numbers to do this, I\'ll start the ball rolling.

-------------------

As of today (3/17) there are 65 commitments to buy Slaughterhouse on the Prairie and 69 for A real Diamond in the Rough.

I\'m looking for 100 commitments per CD before I start selling pre-orders, or pretty close any way.

Travis, maybe I\'m reading the results wrong but when I just clicked on the Poll Test Results link it showed 13 for SHotP, 17 for ARDITR and 52 for Both. Wouldn\'t that be 65 for SHotP and 69 for ARDITR, total so far?

I wanted both, so I just checked "Both"; did I do it wrong, or am I reading the results wrong, or ...?  :-/

Travis

No, I did it wrong, you did it right. As usual moving a little too fast for my own good.
I\'ll correct my totals.

Slunk_Lord

Hope everything gets sorted out Travis.

Not a problem, Travis, just wanted to let you know there were a lot more people on board. You should be hitting 100 pretty soon.

And since I come across a lot of people talking up TDRS on other Buckethead sites/forums, I\'d venture to say if extras were printed, they would sell. Those people who are referred here probably just see "sold out" and wouldn\'t know about the pre-sale poll unless they came to the forum, but would buy the CD (or sign up for a pre-sale) if it was over at the store.

And on a totally different note, Travis, I (and I\'m sure most of the people who come here) really appreciate your taking the time to look into getting this done, and running the site, and all the minutiae you do on the administrative end.

When you\'re primarily a music artist, composer and producer, I\'m sure your creative side must often times groan when having to deal with things like postage rates, reprints, etc. I\'m sure you\'d rather be doing other, more musically inclined, things. So thanks much for all you do for the fans and the grace and good-naturedness with which you do it.

As I\'ve said before, you rock!

Is there any word about the ION releases Population Override and Bucketheadland 2?

- may be it really help?

I\'ve already voted for SotP the first time around, so I\'ll not be voting again.
Hope they reach 100 soon! ;D

Thank you for that. Yes, I am a musician not a webmaster or business person.
I don\'t do those things gracefully. I would much rather spent time recording music then spending time going through pages of html or php programing code for errors. However, I do think it\'s essential musicians take charge of their own affairs and keep in contact with and work hard to make sure those that appreciate what you (we) do enough to put hard earned money down, have input and are listened to.

So....I\'m convinced.  In the next couple of days I\'ll upload these two CDs to the Bandcamp site where you can purchase the CD and get a high bandwidth download while you wait for the re-pressing. I\'ll make an announcement here and add a link in the banner above. I guess I don\'t have to mention this but, just in case. It\'s important that if you voted you follow through and purchase the pre-order. If not you will leave those that voted in good faith and followed thorough hanging. If all of you who voted follow through right away, we can have these CD\'s in hand soon.

That\'s great!
I can\'t think of any other company who\'d give such good service as to let you download the album for free while they wait for a new restock.
Thanks! ;D

Thanks, Travis! Much appreciated, as always! And I\'m sure you\'ll get even more pre-orders than the poll numbers, once people elsewhere find out about it.

Uh, now, if someone would clue me in on what Bandcamp is and where to find it :-/ Is it somewhere on this site or somewhere else? Are you gonna put a link at the store, too, or just here at the forum? (I just don\'t want to miss it and have them all snapped up before I get my $$$ in ...) Sometimes I can be so tecno-illiterate ...
