Holy macaroni.. B\'s website hasn\'t been updated since Jebus knows when, sometime around \'05?! That\'s almost 5 years ago now at this point? I mean I know we can all hear about the latest releases here (thanks Travis!) but holy canoley, you\'d think that Bucket would have somebody "minding the site" so to speak? Other than the Homing Beacon splash nothing much has changed for a long, long time.

I just really wish that there was some kind of updating going on, even if it\'s not much it would still be better than nothing.

Don\'t get me wrong, I know he\'s a super busy guy, probably one of the busiest, but that\'s why we put somebody else in charge of shit like that. Just hire a web guy, even if it\'s just part-time, then there could always be a little something something new every now and again.
(Like for example, the new DCK release? etc.)

why does every body assume that the site isn\'t exactly how Big B wants it ... and at his pace ... in his own time... based on what he feels is important, etc.?

when Homing Beacon was ready, it was up lickity-split

i really don\'t think it is broken - i\'d like to think that it\'s not and have some respect for it being there -

.... that\'s me
Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.

BelieveIntheBucket

yeah. imo, the site is ok. bh isnt one for communicating with his fans other than with his music anyway

Slaw_Slinger

I agree with the last two posts.  When he\'s touring the dates are always updated.

I think the sight sucks. I have a problem with the guy who runs it.

As far as tour dates go, I usually find out about the shows from other message boards or from the venue websites weeks before dates are posted on BHL.

I signed up for the newsletter about 15 years ago and have never received even an email.

When I first discovered bucketheadland years ago it offered everything I needed to satisfy my Big B curiosity. I still visit the site occasionally and it makes me smile. I can see both sides of the issue but I tend to lean towards what nuff_said said. Big B is an unconventional enigma wrapped in obscurity, why should his website be any different? I enjoy the mystery of unknowing and that is one of many reasons I am so drawn to Big B.

The only problem I have with the bucketheadland website is that on the home page just below the Bucketheadland snail mail address it clearly says, and I quote "If you are writing and want a reply, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope". I have sent at least a 1/2 dozen sase\'s over the last 5-6 years and never got a reply - what\'s up with that?

^ I agree there Duckhead.  I\'ve never sent anything to Bucketheadland, but I know some people wonder if that address even works.

Yes the address works. Pinchface was in charge of picking up the mail a few years ago, so Bucket has to go to Pinchy\'s house to retrieve it. Weather he gets there is another thing due to his busy schedule....
