Atlanta Show

I finally have found time to report on the ATL show. It was fantastic. The show started really close to 8:00. That 1 Guy comes out & almost stole the show. He\'ll be the toast of New York one day. 15" break. Then BH, Pinchy & T1G come out & start killin\' it. And yes, BH has improved technically, he was doing an insane ring finger & pinkie hammer-on I have never seen him do. His guitar seemed to be EQ\'d in a higher register (i guess to keep T1G murkiness from interfering) But kudos to the soundboard man, the sound was excellant. But I will say that BH sounded his best (And seemed most comfortable) with just the pre-recorded rhythm trax. He was right in the pocket & every fret of every string was utilised. BH really shined on a mid-tempo solo that was really a work of art.He was very, very gracious in allowing T1G to share the spot light. Only one miscue I caught was the start of the 2nd set. BH was playing a great melody but T1G got off in whole different key. After some effort by BH not to give it away, he exited the stage for about 5 minutes, came back & started playing a different song in the key T1G had gotten into. Great show that lasted for !4 hours! with only very short breaks. BH keeps refining & keeps working hard. Remember I said T1G almost stole the show. Well, A for effort but BH is just taking guitar into uncharted territory & thats a good thing.
