Hey, I\'m trying to get into music theory right now, and I want to practice leads. Does anyone know what scale and mode the solo in "For Mom" (on Colma) is? I\'m pretty sure it\'s key is C, but then again I have no clue. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sorry to bring up an old post but this one had been bugging me.  I just listened and had a fiddle with the piano.

The beggining of the song is in B Major, with the event of the solo, the piece modulates to Eflat Major, and in the last few bars  - to it\'s relative minor, B minor.

Just experiment with the notes in the Eflat major scale and you\'ll be fine   ;)

Holy cow, thanks for responding!
I\'ve come a long way since I posted that, but I was still confused at the changes in it. I posted on .tk too and no one responded there, so thanks again!
