Thanatopsis, what\'s it like?

Thantopsis was a Club ran out of the El Gonquin? in New York by the Founders of the New Yorker Magazine , Have You herd of it..
Now before you call me a up tight know it all read Harpo Speaks thats were I read about this, oh and the stuff about the dogs was a hoot.

im not very book read..but in contextual studys have to read turn of the screw by henry james...anyone know of it?
