Buckethead\'s signature.....

So, I\'ve been looking to grab a copy of Island of Lost Minds off of ebay, and i found one that is apparently signed by Big B himself. Its only $16, which seems ridiculously cheap for a sig. Can anybody confirm if its rea or not. It\'s similar to the one on my painting print, but i just want to make sure......

you\'ve got to be crazy if you think that cd will go anywhere under $40, possibly way higher.

Looks like a fake to me.  Wavy lines where they are perfectly straight on my ISOTs.  I would not be surprised if other possible discrepancies are apparent under examination.

Caveat Emptor in my opinion...but as always, I could be wrong.

ya, i noticed he wavy lines too, but on some of my ISOTs they are a tiny bit wavy.

yes that looks authentic, i wouldnt be concerned with wavy vs straight lines on the bucket.... good luck gettin it!

i\'m no Buckethead signature expert, but i\'ve seen my fair share of his sigs, and if you were to ask me, i\'d say, yes, it\'s authentic.

For one, he signed the self portrait onto the face. I\'ve seen him do things like this several times before. Like putting a Bucket on the face of the Electric Tears cover, and one time a bot of mine gave a Camel cig pack to Big B and he put a little Bucket on the camel\'s head.

For 2, the "C" is basically a straight line. He does this quite a bit when the Sharpie isn\'t fine tipped enough. I have a few signatures in that fashion.

and 3rd, i can usually always determine a fraud if the K and the D are suspect. In this case, it\'s def not. They almost always look the same.

I think its real. travis got a copy of my Inbred Mountain signed awile back by Buckets before he mailed it out and it looks very similar to this one. I can post a scan of my copy.. only difference on mine is he personalised the cover with a message  hehe..good luck man I\'m sure it will sky rocket in price.. I just wish i got my original copy signed.. but at the time i got my original Island Of Lost Minds I was unaware how tightly travis worked with Buckethead.
