Hey folks.  For those of you who are unaware, there\'s a guy on ebay who goes by the name of zosod.  What he does is take advantage of Buckethead fans who aren\'t aware of Travis\' website and sells cds at TWICE the price by telling them that currently available titles are "rare" or "hard to find".  It\'s dishonest and, in my book, it\'s just plain wrong.  Although he claims to be a "fan", his actions speak of a basic lack of respect for others who truly love the music.  Not to mention that all of that profit goes into his pocket and NOT Buckethead\'s.  All that zosod is doing is lying and getting paid for it.  Any suggestions on how we can put a stop to this?  Anyone out there have any information on the "man/boy" who calls himself "zosod"? >:(

Damn, you caught me. >:(

(Just kidding.)

That\'s sounds real low. Is there any way to report people as "violators" on eBay or anything?

He is not violating any of ebays policies. If someone does not do their research before they buy anything from him or anybody else on ebay, then they get what they deserve. It\'s not that hard to spend a few extra minutes making sure you are getting a good deal.

The problem I have is with ebay allowing massive amounts of countfeit goods  to be sold thru their site, specifically Giant Robot NTT (as related to Buckethead). I have sent numerous complaints to them, but the same sellers keep popping up again and again.

Therefore, dont worry about Zozod trying to make a few extra bucks legally re-selling items that any moron can find by doing some research. Worry about the illegal and rampant counterfeit market on ebay. That\'s what you should e complaining about

I agree, as bad as Zosod is, once you\'re aware of him/what he\'s doing/offering- he did get me on a copy of Bucketheadland before I started frequenting online Buckethead fan communities and learned you could simply import it from Japan!-, he\'s nothing to worry about. What he\'s doing is wrong, in my eyes, morally, if not legally but, as toons says, do your research and you negate his cons.

What Ebay permit, or rather, don\'t act upon, is truely criminal on the other hand! They don\'t, as toons cites, act upon reports of the selling of counterfiet goods on their site and, to boot, their auction system is designed in such a way as to allow for sellers to engineer auctions in their favour via shill bidding.

Sorry toon321-if you want to show everyone how funny you are, then you\'ll have to post your reply yourself, but you did get it right when you referred to your message as an "ass reply".   If you want me to leave you alone as you requested, then feel free to not respond to my postings and give me advice on how I should act.  I sent you a private message response out of courtesy; I won\'t make the same mistake again.
