 ;DFirst time on this whole site, and it\'s very cool! I don\'t know if cool is a compliemtn, but I like it lol.

Anywhoo, although young mwah! I am really wanting to do art, either through set design and that area, film/theatre. Graphic designs alright, but Oh my god! Staring at a computer for too long gives me really hanging migraines.but, what I love is the pure art, sculpture, painintg, photography, and my firt love sketching, pencil, charcoal whatever!

So yeah, where am I heading?

I am heading to say do any of you know any good ways for me to get myself somewhere into the arts, what gives some one that extra thing?

I don\'t mean to be arrogant or anything along the liens of it, but I am able in art, and I\'ve been selected to represent my school in soem courses etc. I\'ve always loved art, I\'m at a drama place, where I can get into design/art workshops, I\'m trying to find art classes, and so on...

i sound lieka right art geek, I do have a life outsidfe of art but yeah!

Any help? I would gratefully recieve it.  ::) :-[ :) :D ;) ;Dpweaseeeeeee! :P ;D :D ;) :)

art comes in lotsa forms, Thumbelinafairy.  most of the folks on this site do music as their main art form.  Travis\' dad, Burton, is a kick ass artist.  he does painting and now graphic/animation vein.  totally kick ass.

i do painting, drawing, etc. - more the standard visual arts.  my suggestion is get to know the artists in your area.  get to know the local ground level art scene.  talk to people involved in the local art schools, etc - there is no secret key to the magic kingdom... just keep working at your stuff and see if you can hook up with someone who deeper into the scene who can mentor you.

craigslist.org has an artists community page and such for most locations they\'re in.
Peace.

yes i guessed most people here are into music, I\' like music, liek playing keyboard, clarinet drums etc.... I know it\'s not my best thing. But, I think in a weird way I get inspiration from music, and I music for that, teh imagery it gives you.

that\'s ok - one of my emails is "all themanymes" because there are so many facets i just can\'t always keep track.

sure you can see my work - //www.gkg-arts.com

in fact, some time this weekend i should be posting a music clip that Chris Moss did for one of my paintings - Creative Flow.  Chris Moss is great - he\'s one of the fab regulars on this board.

the arts are inspired by all the arts, just as they are by death, joy, creation and all other things.  nice to have you with us!

enjoy your school break - man i miss those days!
Peace.
