Major thread bump here but I found another quote from Pat, from the late '90s:

I have been following bucketheads thing closely since he came on the scene about 10 years ago now. he is an interesting player that has found a way of dealing with the instrument techinically that is really extraordinary. he also seems pretty fearless as an improvisor in the best sense of the word. i always try to stay up on what he is doing and i always enjoy hearing him. i think i heard that he is going to join guns and roses or something like that? i may skip that one...axl's vibrato doesn't really do it for me... but i am sure that buckethead will bring something hip to the table.

How is it?

QuoteI\'m getting a lot of email about this. This is a Brain solo CD and Brain is the only performer.

Does he play anything apart from drums Travis?

I\'m going to order it regardless, just thought I\'d ask  :D

Thanks for the studio pics!

Travis,
Regarding the Hammond - is the Peavey head used for amplification?

Also which tracks feature this fine example of an instrument?

In "What the hell was that?" from Left Hanging I can hear a Leslie cabinet, which sounds great by the way. My guess would be that it\'s this keyboard, but I could be wrong.

Man, nice restoration job on the C2 and nice collection :o

Thanks for the reply

Travis, I was wondering if you could maybe tell us what gear you have in your studio i.e. what are your favorite pianos/synths in your collection? Also are your instruments all hardware or do you use softsynths as well?

QuoteStill widely available

It has NEVER been widely available.  None of those links you\'ve listed have the instrument in stock.  A year back it was a major pain in the ass to secure an order of this instrument, it took me 6 months of constant searching.

I see that a lot of places are claiming they\'ll have them in stock soon, but I call BS and would be extremely surprised if Gibson makes another production run.  The arrival dates are constantly pushed back.

OP - unfortunately your best bet at this stage would be ebay.

QuoteI put a lot of myself into those records and was afraid they would fade into obscurity.

It\'ll never happen Travis.  Quality music like this is appreciated for lifetimes.

I\'d quite like to see a video of Travis tearing it up on the keys.

Is there any such video in existence?

If there isn\'t, is there a chance that we could see something like this in the future?  Maybe some studio footage?

Thanks Travis, love your work.

Nice find.

Looking forward to this one!

Thanks D. I probably should have read the thread before opening my mouth.

Everyone who requires a lossless version of this album please post.

Travis, if at all possible a physical copy or even a Bandcamp or TDRS FLAC download would be perfect.

Please don\'t let this be available only in lossy butchered audio!
