I too, EllaEm, was not a crossworder until a loooong flight I took in \'05, and I still don\'t finish them, the ones in the paper can be very hard, \'specially as the week goes on for the NY Times one.  I thought the Bucket-y type would be more interesting...Any one else play Bucket-y games or Bucket-y versions of games?  
I may have to post another for yer headstumps to chew on...

I absolutely Adore this album, I\'ve spun it dozens upon dozens of times, and never less than thrice at each sitting!!!
I agree with you EllaM., purple is my fave too and  this is sooo soothing, it\'s inspired me to make a second mixed disk of meditaton, mell-o B.

The Lotus is the perfect emblem for several reasons, and paired with the bruised blue hues of the artwork, it seems to portend to the introspective reflections within. (like the beautiful line drawing seems to be having!)  The playing is at once strong and delicate, sensuous songs that peel down to a raw core; hypnotic, melodic and down right catchy!!

I especially like Dawn Appears, with it\'s heartbeat kickdrum murmurs and airy, harpsichord like builds, nub ons n offs in low low tones.  Allowed to Play reminds me of She Sells in it\'s cadence and dis harmonic sustains.  If Squid Ink gets live play it should inspire a dancing frenzy, do the inky-ink kidz!!

Overall I especially like the sonic carvings; the space between the notes, and the extra low tones that resonate so full it\'s as if the instrument had f-holes!!

How pleasingly apt that there would be a follow up to the trail...and another dreamy contrast from chime-like dewiness to blistering shatter peals of heavy emotion.
                  
Now I feel like I know ...the REST of the story...   Who knows what else may pop up, forgotten style...?

Plus, yet again, the Buck has pushed us (me \'n zin) to another first, ITunes purchases.

Spoiled Indeed, Slunkatron!! I can\'t believe we get a third album AND a tour already...and forget bookcases, we need a bigger CLOSET to store all the Bucket in the house with all the official And supplemental road cd\'s in the archives of Zintar!! LOVE IT!!

Forensic Follies goes Way beyond de-ja voodoo...this is more than a Mash...this is grafting with surgical precision, straight from the very head of Herbie from the looks of the cover, well, and Monti of course.  I detect 5 sources from the cd picture, Inbred, Elephant, Slaughterhouse, Dawn of the Deli Creeps and a Real Diamond.  I want to say Kaleidoscalp as well but I think the baby bozos I am hearing are Goat Host...  I wonder if the sliver size coincides with the amount used?  I\'m gonna have to go back over Inbred and Elephant again.  

At any rate, the concept is fascinating, the results are fantastic, I\'m having a lot of fun Piece-ing this patchwork in my head.  Even though it\'s been a bakers dozen of spins so far, I still think my phone is ringing, someone\'s at the door or I am in the game Gallaga at the challenging stage,  some parts make me laugh, guffaw and chortle...itsa LOT of Fun!! The last track has me thinking of fuzzy green growth on static human forms, adrift in the woods instead of clean and in shop windows, that makes me giggle.
I think folks will need to buy two copies so they have one to dissect and one to stay pristine!

Thanks to Lefty for the leg up!!  The road sounds great so far, it really feels like there\'s  another shoe to drop, perhaps imminently, based on the few tracks no one can place so far.... SO Exciting!!

Such sorrow to hear of both your loved ones passing, it\'s so hard to lose those closest to us, it makes us reflect on how precious life is.  I will Definitely be saying "wiiiiiii" if I get to 97!!  I hope you are both with your families and surrounded by love, you certainly are here... LOVE It!! Best album since Albino Slug  I especially like the inversions of titles and themes. I hear a lot of direct passages and continuations...Dejavoodoo!!  My fave so far is track 5, love that low-low stuff!! This is another you\'ll never play once through, it demands at least three plays in one sitting, as does Albino, still, for me.
