I run an Ibanez Soundgear through a Fender Bassman. It\'s not the greatest combo but i make it work for now. Ernie ball reg strings, active pickups.

My effects chain is DoD Distortion which i rarely use, DoD Octave, Digitech Synth Wah/Envelope Filter, Danelectro Delay/Echo, Digitech Dual Bass Compression, and a Cry Baby Wha.

I absolutely love Hank. Have almost all of his books and i have tons of his spoken word material. I don\'t get to catch any of his entire shows, but thanks to youtube, i have seen some pretty important moments from his shows. Most memorably, The Mars Volta, and the interview of Serj & The Nightwatchman.
