"upgraded" from *supposedly* bad trader to *definitely* bad trader.

For those who haven\'t followed this scam:
This guy claims that he\'s got recordings from Fujirock 2004 (Praxis, GR). To some parties he was telling that he had made the recordings. To others, that he got the tapes through his connection to the organizers of the festival. No party could be identified who ever received anything from this guy. Since his identity is not clarified, best advice is to be careful with all Chinese destinations and traders without references/reputation.

It is always worthwhile checking Laswell\'s evolution of sounds, and Ruins is a great example. First, these tunes, I think, were to be found on Deadline/Dissident. That\'s pretty much a jazzy and accoustic set. It was once again done by the same musicians minus Hellborg and Johansson plus Masabumi Kikuchi in an electronic sound set, title Kikuchi/Dreamachine, track Black Star Dub. Finally Ruins on HallEng in an ethnic arrangement. All of them do well deserve to exist!

As to similarity with Thanatopsis/Twinge, sorry, but haven\'t found any.  Wouldn\'t be a surprise, though, to see a Material influence in Buckethead\'s works.

Awesome! Can\'t wait to get the complete thing!

I like the axe. We will probably also see in film what has been sketched on the rear cover of Thanatopsis 1? Sample doesn\'t show that.

chazuke: I really like the quote you have on your posts!
"bot is sooo gross, he\'s unleashed!" ;D

Thanks, I like it too, not my invention though. Neither is the sy borg quotation on the left side. That\'s Zappa/Joe\'s Garage. I\'m happy that my avatar pic works now, thanks to Zuzu and to Deconstruct.

Then it is possible that you will like Shine, too. There was a controversial discussion over at the Laswell board at yahoo over the rehashing of Unison material. IMO, they are both wonderful. - Another advice. Both albums have got on guitars equally much Nicky Skopelitis as they have Bucket. Nicky\'s works with Laswell would deserve more attention, they are numerous and great.

I received several CDs directly from TDRS allright, and I\'m in Germany. I wouldn\'t go through an online dealership as long as the artists provide a channel.

That makes me curious. Is this video supposed to go with a song from one of the Thanatopises?

Hey that\'s great! This is my official pre-order for Thanatopsis 3! My special requests? No particular, because T1 and T2 are both fantastic. Hmm, if I think about it again, here it is, a special for me. My wife listens to T2 a lot. I really love the harder stuff of T1, so if you want to consider the preferences of a faithful fan here, then it would be "my turn" with harder riffs on T3 ... How about a guest appearance, eg. Jonas Hellborg?

Hello,

Please note that Zuzu speaks on behalf of a fair number of Bucketbots. Her and our intentions are what you would call "clean".

sl-tech, you have a point.

On the other hand: For the same reason, a lot of art goes into a safe and no one has a chance to appreciate.

I would sign any paper "no resale, no copies" etc.

But why so complicated? You can upload the stuff on db.etree.org , make a posting here so every robot knows, and hence no market for scumbags.

I can well understand Travis\' difficulty to help.

Please release the shows, all of them. I saw the one at Slim\'s, and it was great. According to reviews, all were quite different and nonetheless fantastic.

To slaughterhousetech: Can I put my name on the list of people to trade a copy anyway? I have lots of really rare stuff to offer in return.

Yes, there is no doubt that this song was fabricated by Bill Laswell alone. However
1) There is accoustic guitar, which Laswell seldom plays by himself.
2) The synths bass line is the same as on Colma. The entire track sounds very similar as Machete/Colma.
3) Same year.
4) Compare to Shine/Unison, same concept.
I believe that the guitar is a sample of Big B, material rehashed very well.

"Abstract Depressionism" is the title of a not so well known yet great CD released 1998, and it has got a track 3 credited to Praxis, undoubtedly Bill Laswell playing most of it. Anyone who knows if the guitar is played by Buckethead?

Hi Travis,

Any news on this project?

Many thanks Travis.
This is a great track.
Looking forward to the album.
