Wonderful news!  Thanks Travis!   ;D

And SINCE you guys are working on a new CD, would you mind passing on a request to Mr. Mortensen?  I absolutely loved the (for lack of a better word) chanting in \'They Ate Your Family\'....and wished the song would have been much longer.

Soooooooo.....how about some more of that [glb]chantin\' stuff?[/glb]   ::)

Thanks again and the best of luck to you!

Just getting around to visiting the forum this week, but I received my copy on Monday.  I only ordered it on Friday...which means it made it all the way across the country to TN that quick!  Dang Travis...you\'re good...and the book is too! ;)

Ahhh....one of my many weaknesses....BOOKS! ;D  Signed and numbered too?  Woohoo! I\'m there!

Thanks Travis!

When I listen to this CD, I feel the same way I felt after watching Fahrenheit 9/11....very scared and very angry.

I agree with you oldfolkie, the bombs and lying politician sound bytes are a bit disturbing....but they also represent a brutal (and honest) portrayal of Bush & his regime.

I respect and appreciate all of Viggo\'s music...but I, for one, am hoping his next CD will be a little more \'lighthearted\'!  ;)

QuoteLooks like he has a new cd with Buckethead coming out in the winter.  Travis, will you have this available at your webstore?

From Perceval Press website.

This is great news!!  Something to look foward to during the dreary days of winter.  Thanks!  :)

Hey Chris!

I can\'t speak for Travis on what Viggo may (or may not) be up to musically, but I do know he\'s been awfully busy filming movies lately.
As you said in your post, he recently finished "A History of Violence", which will be out in September...he\'s also finishing up a movie in Spain called "Captain Alatriste" AND, rumour has it, he may be starring in a movie with Diane Lane called "Killshot"!

I\'ve also heard/read he\'s starting another book of poetry...WHEW!  Talk about your work-a-holic!!  :o
Maybe...somehow, in between all of that AND being the father of a teenager, he\'ll squeeze in some studio time!!!  (One can only hope!)  ;D

Quotereading my post again brings up one thought:
maybe you can provide me with music that deals with grammar, punctuation and spelling. ;)

I have the perfect CD for ya d6!

It\'s called "School House Rock".  For those who remember Saturday morning cartoons (before cable tv came along), School House Rock was the animated, musical commercial segments in between cartoons. They were the \'educational\' part of the morning.  ;)

This CD offers some of the more memorable, catchy tunes from SHR... performed by artists such as Blind Melon (3 is a Magic Number), Better Than Ezra (Conjunction Junction) & Chavez (Little Twelvetoes). Moby, The Lemonheads, Pavement and others are also on the CD.

I don\'t know how educational it really is...but it\'s kinda fun to have in your CD collection! :)
