Received mine today 8) i have been listening to this release for hours, non-stop, this CD is amazing! really something i have been waiting for, i also agree with those who have said "he is back" this statement couldn\'t be closer to the truth.

Real highlights from the album that i highly enjoy and that really stuck out from the rest for me:

Track 1 (amazing track, one of my top favorites, really fun to listen to, lots of happiness and hard rock, great combo\'s!)

Track 2 of course ;)

Track 3, this track is a great one, mellow and beautiful, yet still manages to have that rock feel, really reminds me of A Real Diamond in the Rough.

Track 4 is a great tune, i also agree with others that have said this reminds them a bit of early Sabbath.

Track 5, this is one of the two true highlights, really reminds me of the holidays and Shadows Between The Sky with some powerful solo\'s.

Track 6, again this is a good one, reminds me of a gargantuan army preparing for battle, some great sounds here.

Track 8 is the[/u] heavy track for me here, really love the killer drop tuned riffs and solos, out of previous albums this one reminds me of Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot with some Cuckoo Clock of Hell and Elephant Man\'s Alarm Clock thrown in.

Track 9 is the second true highlight from this for me and shall never be forgotten, such a short track that contains an unsurpassed amount of beauty,  this really reminds me of Capitan EO\'s Voyage, this would have made the greatest ending to that CD, i would also assume that this track was composed during the CEV recording sessions.

Track 10 is the definition of rock and roll, reminds me extremely of AC/DC and Frankenstein Brothers tracks such as Bought Big Ben.

So to sum it up, these are the tracks that are most important in my mind and are the true great\'s, the others that i have not mentioned (Tracks 7, 11, 12 and 13) while highly enjoyable as-well, they really haven\'t clicked in my mind just yet, i\'m sure i will enjoy these more as i give them some growing time.

10/10 Superb job, Thank you Buckethead![/u] :D

That is an awesome album cover/greeting card you got!(Buckethead is so funny.)  Nice review.   I really like the sound of Track 11 and I think Track 13 is a cool outro.

This new album is so great.  Off the top of my head, my favs. are songs 1-4, 7, and 11 and 12, but all of them are good.  Buckethead continues to amaze me with his guitar playing!

QuoteLeft Hanging is like  8) 8) 8) all over the place.  Terra Firma especially is pretty epic.

Agreed.  Terra Firma and Cosmogony are in my Top 10, maybe even Top 5, Buckethead songs.

Left Hanging sounds really good.  I like it a lot!   Captain EO\'s Voyage has really grown on me too!   :) :)

We have driven out to San Francisco from So Cal. a few different times, which was about 400 miles.  Also 5 hours to see him in Vegas, two different times.

I\'ve been rocking out to Track 3 from The Orange CD.   I like The Blue CD and The Yellow CD too.  I think I have # 96.  It\'s in Roman Numerals.

I can\'t wait to hear Buckethead play the bass!   He has a cool style on the bass, from some of the stuff I\'ve heard before.  Brain rocks too!

Man, you guys got me all excited for this now!   I will try to get it off iTunes later today.   I still haven\'t even finished listening to all of Kind Regards yet.... damn lol

I also loved The Return of Captain EO song on ARDITR.

ok I bought and finished listening to Buckethead\'s latest releases (Brain as Hamenoodle, Kind Regards, and Captain Eo\'s Voyage) I also have have BR and SC (both great) but I thought I\'d review the new ones here.

Brain as Hamenoodle: 8.2 out of 10.  I think this is a pretty cool album.  Brain sounds amazing on the drums.   Buckethead seems to play a more supportive role on this with the bass but it is still great to hear him play along.   Very funky.  I think it is very original, too, and sounds like classic Buckethead.

Kind Regards: 8.4 out of 10.   I think Buckethead plays even better on this album.  There are some super sweet bass parts, and I think each of the CDs are pretty good.  It is cool that there are 3 CDs worth of material.

I can see myself listening to Hamenoodle and Kind Regards a lot more.   There is a lot of cool stuff there.

Captain Eo\'s Voyage: 7.8 out of 10.   I have only listened to this once, so far.  I\'m glad some people are digging it, but I think it is a bit too slow for me.  I actually really liked The Return of Captain EO song from ARDITR.  I think that album , and SBTS are better than "Voyage".   I may still have to listen to it a few more times to take it in.   I still think it sounds very melodic, but it is maybe a bit too polished.  It does seem a bit more focused than Hamenoodle and KR, but I still prefer those two.  I guess I wasn\'t really as into this one.  But it is still better than most other music out, these days.  I did like the bass on this, I wonder if it was Buckethead or someone else?  I\'m sure I could still have some good times listening to this, but it is not quite a favorite(yet.)

Hi everyone.  I just wanted to sign up and talk about Spinal Clock.  I think it is a great album!  It took a few listens to grow on me, but I really enjoy the whole thing now.  I like the stripped-down approach.   I think Buckethead sounds great on the banjo and was able to put his own twist on it.  I was really impressed with his playing on it too, I don\'t think he was being lazy at all with his playing.  I really enjoy how he crafted these songs from the banjo.  My favorite songs are Whale on This, Spinal Cracker, Skeleton Dance and Bayou By You.   I would say "Bayou By You" is one of my favorite Buckethead songs ever!   :D
