Title: Cornbugs...
Post by: Duckhead on July 07, 2008, 06:14:25 PM
I have been looking for any of the first 3 cornbugs albums (spot the psycho, cemetery pinch, how now brown cow). From what little I know a few of  the later albums have tracks from the first 3 remastered by Travis but I would still like to hear them. Does anyone know if there are any legal downloads of these?

ok, if you buy.  Celebrity psycho\'s, skeleton farm and rest home for robots, that is the same as the first three albums but they are remastered and in a weird order.  Spot the psycho really is important to be in the right order though, cos songs follow through into each other

You won\'t be dissapointed by Lindy and Camille. Fellow Ramy Antoun of Thanatopsis drums on both.

Nuff, oh yeah I\'ll get the remastered compilations later, the next Cornbugs thing I saw are the DVDs.

Hex, I actually went looking for Seal CD\'s to try and find Ramy Antoun on them a while ago, from what I gathered his only on the Greatest Hit\'s, I\'m not much of a fan of GH\'s albums, but I\'m a sucker for Anthology\'s.

followed the linky to Camille Bright Smiths off TDRS website and REALLY liked what heard there.

AFAIK he\'s only on the "Best of" and on "One Night to Remember", a live album. No studio album yet.

All albums feat. Ramy that I\'ve found are included here:
Selected discography (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Guitarists/Buckethead_task_force/Ramy_Antoun#Selected_discography)

the dvd\'s are hilarious, lots of clowining around and homemade music videos.  can\'t say for sure, but you\'d likely have to be a die-hard Big B and Moselyfish fan to appreciate them, hehe.

NO DARK BEER FOR CHRIS DICICCO ANYMORE, STICK TO TOP DOG er LONGBOARD.

HOPEfully we\'ll someday see a re-issue of Cemetery Pinch, Spot the Psycho and How Now Brown Cow.  That\'s some great gift giving right there.

Celeb Psychos is supercool because the collab all has a very spooky (((((vibe)))))  The magical music that was conjured up simply by Buckethead and ChopTop getting together is definitely our good fortune.  Perhaps one day they\'ll once again cosmically collide, but if not, they\'ve left us a whole big old loaf of goodness.

There was once a ChopTop or Otis contest and i had to wonder is there even a question?  Why ChopTop for sure.  Without him there\'d be no Otis AND no Cornbugs!!!

Cool. After reading this thread yesterday I dug out my Cornbugs cd\'s and dvds. Listened, watched. Great stuff  ;D
 ..... I like it. ( Alot  ;) ).

( I noticed that I have two copies of Brain Circus. Two different covers and only one had the lyrics printed on the
inside of the insert ). Neat-o.

oh hwo...

two different, one with lyrics I hope I get the elder one...

the reissue for EtC with extra track just throws it all off, oh well, Bill must be doing the next Halloween movie, or I would have got them in the mails t\'day.

happy March everone.

In unrelated news...  I love "The Gemini\'s" picture.

And the picture above in this thread is pretty silly too.  I think the pink window valances really add something.

uhm? m/s page?? meaning whut??? microsoft or myspace

I sent it thru the amazon messenger thingy...

it was strange when I was digging around for an email it was tagged with gregreverb45 er somthin same thing as the bucketboard erm bucketheadlands maintenance programmer.

very funnily looped delooped.

anyway, went so far as to try and cancel order but the estimated delivery dates were March 5th- 19th but ordered on the 24th of Feb.

I am so spoiled from dealing with TDRS.com

anywho went Youtubing and found this beauty...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhk8AAwZV6U

its a cover and played by as near as I can tell Buckethead and Bernie Worrell.

got email from Bill via MySpace then sent him a note via my other email, he never got the order.

but is sending CD\'s next week as He is doing yet another Movie this week.

also I could not cancel orders made a near a month ago, whoever gregreverb45 is I don\'t think I\'ll be dealing with them anymore on Amazon.

Now TDRS.com\'s Store and Travis on the other hand is GREAT (looks at other hand says \'Your Great\')...

Ha Ha haa silly
