Maximum Bob, I miss you and all your sagedom.

Miss you and your words when you were on Myspace, (Happy Deli Creeps Friday); you who can stun even the most cunning of linguists.  Yes you, the Stunning Linguist.

Give us a word or fifty.  It would be quite nice.

Bob to the Max,
We would love to hear more work from you... out of the the singers that Buckethead has worked with you, my friend, are at the top.

This is a huge complement: Your work reminds me of Gibby Hanes & Dave Brockie... 2 of my favorite psychos.

Get on Bucketheads a$$ to do another recording... or a tour would be nice as well!!!!

Here\'s a big imaginary sweaty hug, complete with unlimited digital intrusion with insufficient lubrication for each of you....

I was just thinking about some of the creative minds on this board, wondering if anyone in the world would like to assume creative control of the Deli Creeps website...

I would welcome it....

Hey, how about updating bucketheadland.com first instead? That place needs a lot more work, and an overhaul as well.. it\'s one big eyesore. Snap out of it man..

Hey Bob, Maximum! Don\'t let this Greg fella take over the site, it\'ll fall into a state of disrepair within weeks. Your choice, of course..

well, it\'s hard to say how much control Greg actually has or whether or not he was the designer of that site... the site says he\'s Bucketheadland maintenance, so i wouldn\'t necessarily jump to conclusions.  it\'s pretty well known he spends a lot of time tracking down rogue ferris wheels and what not, and i think the lost and found gets pretty hard to control what with all those limbs thrashing around trying to find their bodies.

NO. Seriously. BHL (no offense) needs a proper sprucing, and it would be awful to see that dude in control of deli creeps aswell.

I think BHL is (or was) great. The whole concept of Welcome To Bucketheadland in a website is very unique. But that was long ago, and a lot has happened since it\'s inception. It could have been a very useful website- email distribution lists, merchandise, special fan info. Instead, it just sits there, languishing in nothingness. Such a waste.

Anyway, good luck on finding a webmaster for the Creeps.

Yeah, it was great - as long as it worked:
http://bucketheadland.com/index_map.html

Flash was really great back then in the 1990s.

When were the news last updated, in 2005?

MBob, i\'m still happy you answered this thread, it was good to hear from you.  i\'m beginning to wonder, since i began it, if it\'s possible for me to delete the whole thing.

i\'m pretty sure that when you mentioned you\'d like some creative input and assistance at http://delicreeps.com you didn\'t intend for this to turn into a bash buckethaedland.com fest.

i\'ll hope that maybe some of those negative posts will disappear or go re-post elsewhere, another forum perhaps, otherwise i think i\'ll check into ending this one\'s life, and maybe calling you on another line.

Too bad this thread went down the crapper.

First and foremost, a big hello to BOB!!!

As the subject changed and probably should have its own thread I will comment below:

Unfortunately, I find the state of Bucketheadland.com very sad. In this day and age, an artist needs to have a current and maintained home place (web-site) where people will REPEATEDLY visit for news, updates, purchases, tour info, forum, etc. This site provides almost non of that.

I know when I want current information on any band I like, I visit their web-site and am usually rewarded. When I visit BHLand, I am  not. Therefore, i dont even go there anymore. This thread actually made me take a peak there to find absolutely no changes.

I dont know how many times I signed up for the e-mail list to no avail. The news section is last century.

From a business standpoint,  BHLand is not doing Buckethead any justice. To lose one person or potential new fan because of this reason is not acceptable.

To Nuff Said- this is not meant to offend or trash anyone. The thread evolved into web-site talk by BOB himself. Greg is associated with BHLand. There has to be some constructive criticism somewhere. Obviously, this is a place where people care about BH, Travis, Bob and all related things. I know I want the best for Buckethead, but when I go to that site, I just get frustrated.

Well, I don\'t want to be the resident asshole. I just don\'t want the Deli Creeps site to go the same way as BHL. Both should be in care of loving fans if not of paid professionals. There\'s lots of people around the whole wide world who spend their spare time to set up websites or content in love of BH and the DC. Just ask them, Bob, you deserve it.

At least both pages should be up to date.

And yes, a website and maybe things like MySpace are must haves these days. In the long run it\'s much cheaper than a professional PR manager.

We all miss the Deli Creeps, and I\'m sure any number of us will do what we can to support/help out or maintain the site. It was nice when there was a myspace cause it gave hope of some activity on the Deli Creeps front.

With much love to all, unfortunately I must agree with the common consensus. I too am frustrated with the Bucketheadland website with its lack of updates or news other than tour dates (Heck Im down in Australia and so they are no use to me)

I don\'t personally blame Greg as I\'m sure he does as good a job as can be done. Gathering information from all the scraps and body parts throughout the slaughterhouse and the coop would be a hard job indeed. What needs to improve is the filtering of info direct from those who operate Buckethead (his management) to the website.

But most important of all I think they need to remove the monitoring of all posts by the Admin before they are on public view on the Bucketboard. Sometimes it can take days or even longer for it to be updated. And so any meaningful discussion or even breaking news such as TDRS releases is impaired.

I love Buckethead. I love Bucketheadland. I am just contributing to some constructive criticism

I second nuffs idea...

It was wonderufl to see Bob Maximum...and Admin Rupert too...and me thinkz that Bucketheadland is wonderful anyway the management chooses...it\'s wonderful for sooo many creative reasons...part of the fun is digging...I\'m thinking people do not appreicate all it\'s peices...it\'s not a forum...and there has gotz to be a filter for slipdiscs...at the OFFICIAL BUCKETHEADLAND site! EEEEEE...there gotz to be a reason!!!!
Of corpse...most peoples seem to me more interested in what they can TAKE....or blabbing their mouths like spew off the news...(everyone has a new and improved ugh)...ewwww.... peeps make me wanna go psycho!!

Much lovez to Bucketheadland!!! AND all Buckethead\'s friends!!!!!!!!!!

BIG HUGZ!  :-*(http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x286/ZQhugz/469433539_1898695c6a.jpg)

Are you people serious?  :o

You\'re thinking about deleting the thread because people are telling it like it is about bucketheadland.com? To recommend this guy as a webmaster is a HUGE disservice to maximum Bob (And the fans!). I spend a lot of time on the internet, and bucketheadland.com is by far the most outdated, poorly maintained, insult to a world class musician I\'ve ever seen. Virtually no pertinent information about the artist has been added since 2005. It\'s 2009 if you didn\'t know!

If the guy has too much on his plate to adaquately maintain the site he already has, he needs to pass on the torch to someone who is willing to put the time it deserves into it. As it is he is doing nothing to help Buckethead, or fans new and old. Lord knows there are people on here and other Buckethead related boards that have phenomenol talent at creating sites, and I\'m sure they would be ecstatic to keep bucketheadland fresh and up to date.

Bob, do not believe the naysayers here. Do not get yourself in the same jam as Bucket by trusting your site to complete hackjobs. You deserve much. much better.

I guess I can see both sides.  When I\'ve visited Bucketheadland I have noticed that there is a lot to see there...if you have the time and patience to poke around.  I definately have not seen the whole thing.  I do also get the feeling that the park is deserted.  Echoes and crickets.  I just check tour dates from time to time.

man, you are never asked to go to bucketheadland.com, you should consider it a privilege to have it in the first place. You people are never content with what you have, which will lead you to an unpleasant future.

On the BHL website it says something like "if you are writing and want a reply send a s.a.s.e."

I have written a few times over the last 4-5 years and never got a reply - what are they doing with all those self addressed stamped envelopes? I also sent small gifts (mostly stickers), does Buckethead get them?

...has anyone else recieved a reply?

I will say this about Bucketheadland.  My little girl loves playing with Onions.  Tearing off little pieces of skin and leaving them scattered all over the floor.
