I listen to early Yes and Fragile is a great record, the songs and arrangements amazing. The playing is great but I think if I caught myself singling out any individual player while listing to the ensemble it would be the bass, incredible. I think Wakeman is an incredible player but keyboardist were never a big influence on my playing. I listen to guitarist much more intently. Cream probably has more of an influence on my playing then any keyboard player since i was enthralled with them during some important years in my playing\'s development, also Hendrix for phrasing in my lead playing. Of-coarse this is getting to be close to 40 years ago and I like to think in the years since I have crafted a style of play that is my own, I guess thats the goal of all players who have been at it a while.
Awsome!!
I love the Bass that Chris Squire Lays Down!!
Thanks for the reply..
Hopefully someday you will venture out of the Studio and tour with BucketHead!!

Keith Emerson was a wicked player back in the early days too - trying to use keyb\'s as lead guitar! Passe\' to like him too these days. Theatrics aside, he really could play a mean organ & moog.
Nice to have Travis kicking out some keyb\'s in a prominant role.....rare nowadays
