Title: in search of the cover art
Post by: heavydb on May 17, 2008, 05:15:35 PM
hello everyone. i was wondering about the album covers on the discs in the "in search of the" box set. i realize the first 999 sets had unique drawings, but i read that each set beyond 1000 all had the same art?

does anyone happen to have pictures or scans of each of the 13 covers for the sets that are beyond 1000 (since they are all the same right?) thanks!

Pretty sure they stopped at 1000.

really? i thought sets would still be sold but they would all have the same cover from 1000 on (like a sticker or something, instead of hand-drawn).

i just wanted to know what the "standard" covers look like, rather than the 999 hand-drawn individuals

999 was the last of  the limited editions...the unlimited are still available....there is a preview of a few of the covers here...haven\'t seen a picture of each of the un-limited covers just yet....i imagine they are all neat-o though!

I\'ll lurk around.
Question? Are you wanting to see the pictures to decide to purchase?  My headstump feels you won\'t be disappointed. Not seeing every cover offers an element of surpirse too...that was part of the fun...with the unlimited version... ;)
ISOT...is a mighty adventure... I think of this amazing set as a symphony  :D a journey through Buckethead\'s magnificent imagination....twists and turns lotsa fun...incredible creativity..paints pictures for me ...I love every bitz of it.

BIG HUGZ!  :)

however after seeing a couple of the non-limited runs cover art, i kind of liked them better, and just want to see the rest hehe. i do plan on purchasing the set but am unable to anytime soon..... not seeing the covers is just irking me

im actually a pretty new buckethead fan. i always would hear about him when i was younger. i think my dad was a fan, but i never personally heard his music until a week ago. man i feel so bad for my deprived self prior to discovering this work of genius.

anyways, i really appreciate you helping me out with the covers. perhaps someone who owns one of the later sets can take pics or something :D. when i can afford to buy the set and some more BH albums i definitely will pick them up.

Search for In Search of The... on ebay, someone is selling each album separately, you can see the art there. Really cool stuff, still look like signature Buckethead art

Does anyone own the regular version? I only have this in digital and I want the covers from each volume.
